AICN just got their hands on some spy shots taken at California State University that apparently show numerous Starfleet Academy students scattered around campus from J.J. Abrams’s Star Trek, along with the unidentified futuristic vehicle scene below. If you’re wondering, in Trek canon, the Academy’s main campus is located in San Francisco. If you guys and gals have seen anything out that way (it’s filming under the working title “Corporate Headquarters”) be sure to let us know. Another photo after the jump…

we all know abrams is a freak about keeping the studio brass happy, to the detriment of the project’s quality even.

I go to Cal State Northridge and saw them setting up on Friday. No one was talking about what was being filmed. The signs with the Star Trek Emblem on them were covered with cardboard. Using CSUN as a location is not a new thing, I’ve seen them filming CSI and other tv shows as well as the Sky High movie.

yeah im 100% positive that car is the aptera. someone mustve got an early one. definately nothing special to the movie!
