The Hollywoood directors think we are stupids...is time they do something new, STOP REMAKES PLEASE!!!...i hate remakes cause is crap.... For example: Shutter....the asian version is the best...and american version is bullshit..... please stop remakes!!!! we want something fresh, something new.....i'm tired and sick of this...i hope next year found something interesting in the american movies.... The whole film is set inside the apartment building once it gets locked down. The directors were at the screening and I asked how involved they were in the production of Quarantine, and they were kind of bitter about the whole thing, saying they were brought on set one day to see how things were going, and noticed how it was looking like a straight remake, just in english- no original artistic view, to paraphrase their broken english. It certainly looks like it could be from Quarantine, but it doesn't fit in with what [REC]'s directors say is going down with the flick.
