I knew Eagle. His too few films were a glimspe into a career that could have been great. He was a difficult person and - obviously - self destructive. It's amazing that his nephew is starting a career of his own that will fulfill that promise. I couldn't be in Austin for SXSW but am thrilled that a new generation of Pinnells is carrying on. I've seen other work of Rene's. He's great! Everyone needs to see his work.
