Lost Boys 2: The Tribe hasn’t even been released yet, yet Corey Feldman is already talking about a possible third film.
“The stage is set,” Feldman said of the ending to The Tribe. “So it’s really up to you, the viewer, and you, the audience, to see that final chapter comes into fruition.” “Personally the way I would like to see it go, I would like to see Edgar finally become a vampire himself and have to battle his own inner demons. That’s where it should go in my mind. I think that part of the magic for the whole trilogy would be seeing those characters that you trust, that you love, turning to the dark side and figuring out if they could make their way back. For the guy who’s out there defending truth, justice, and the American way to be confronted with his own demons, and actually have to go down the path of the dark side - will he make it out? Or has he gone down so far that once he’s turned, there’s no hope, light? Who can save him? I mean, once Edgar Frog’s turned, anything’s possible.”
I think it’s a little too early to talk about a third film, especially based on the negative fan response to the released movie trailers for The Tribe. But maybe a third film would allow them to make another Lost Boys movie, the way it should have been done.

Feldman is a tool.

Wait a second….
Cory Feldman is still alive?

I think they made Feldman’s Lost Boys 3 already. It’s called Star Wars.

“I would like to see Edgar finally become a vampire himself and have to battle his own inner demons.”
Sounds self-serving to me. So basically, Feldman would like to see a third movie focusing entirely on his character.

I have no ill will towards Corey Feldman (or Haim) per Lost Boys: The Tribe. Feldman’s going to push the film as a legitimately worthy sequel to a horror comedy classic, even though it looks terrible, because he’s trying to get back on the marquee after a pretty long fight. I think the guy definitely knows what a good sequel to The Lost Boys should look and play like, but he doesn’t have the power to make it happen. Lost Boys 2 was going to happen regardless, even though the Coreys were instrumental in getting fans to voice up.
Still, if Lost Boys: The Tribe is as bad as it looks, he’s running the risk of having another Meatballs-type run in his second wind, and I don’t see how that’s any better. By spinning LB2 with such passion and saying it’s worthy over and over, he’s turning off a lot of fans, and talking about LB3 at this point just seems desperate. Why believe him again about Lost Boys?
If the director and writer of LB2, who are truly at fault here if the movie sucks, back off LB3 and a hot shot(s) straight out of college who actually gets the original can take over, I’d be all for it. Corey Feldman always walks the borderline of being a spoof of himself and he knows, but there’s a reason why people still want to see a movie with him, and it’s beyond hipster irony. He’s a smart actor, he just needs to surround himself with a smart project that plays to his strengths and makes him look like a champ.
Edgar Frog is a great character, Feldman’s great in this genre, there’s money to be made. I hope something worthwhile pans out, but don’t expect Lost Boys fans to back it no matter what.

I wonder if his vampire face looks like a Darth Vader mask….

Only reason Feldman is talking about a third film is because he has nothing else to do. HAHA

in the 80s i was a big Coreys teen fan. watched all their movies together and separate. and my all time favorite was The Lost Boys it was sooo great.
i really wish both Coreys would be in part 2,that would be great. And
for part 3

omg!!! that is a great idea!!!!! I would love to be in that film, it would be a total blessing!!!!!!!!! I love lost boys and corey. To work with him would be just awesome. And if corey, if u read this, just know, if u have casting in mind, im the one baby lol, but um if not thats cool, keep up the good work =)

also, it’d be cool, if Michael and Star had a child (i dnt know we’ll call her, Venus) and stays with Sam for summer vacation, where she meets the vampire (she’s only about mid teens), but he doesn’t bite her because she is convinced that being a vampire is fun, so from her parents (whom of which were half vampires) she lets out her inner vamp, but she doesn’t kill anybody. But while this meeting between her and the head vampire goes on, Edgar tries to save her from him by saying “no! don’t listen to him!” so then Edgar gets bitten by the new head vampire RIGHT after he kills him, (which makes HIM the new head vamp). So Edgar starts killing very brutally and Venus watches the whole thing and decides that she doesnt want to be a vampire. Since she knows Edgar’s secret she was going to tell Alan and Sam but Edgar has his followers kidnap Venus to keep her mouth shut. After a while of her being missing, Sam and Alan start to get worried and go looking for her. Edgar decides to tag along only to lead them into a trap! So you know they stake them and kill them, and they’re both thinking, “Wait, we killed them all, how come Venus is still a half vampire?” So then Edgar’s secret comes out and Sam is protecting Venus, and Alan and Edgar fight. Alan finally stakes Edgar, and for a moment Edgar is himself while dying saying “Sorry Alan, I love you bro.” and all that. end. lol
….. just a thought =)
Oh yeah, this is MY idea, and if ANY BODY tires to steal it, I’ll make sure that they get sued, I will save this page with my comment, contact ME first.
thank u =)
=) =) =)
I LOVE U FELDMAN n HAIM!!!!

Look Lost boys the tribe is not Corey Fieldmans finest hour and despite Wanner’s and Fieldman beeing down right wrong towards Haim He stills the show in the last two mins halfway between the titles and a Vampire. They needed more of that shit in the movie but if there going on a fight your inner demon theme Frog on a one to one with Sam fight would be good, and maybe finding out how Sam was turned could it be Frogs fault. The third lost boys could be good if ots done right. Unlike this one which is watchable at best.

I just watched lost boys 2 and I have to say it was a bit on the sumb side but all in all it wasn’t completely bad. Fieldman did a good job reprising his role as Edgar but they added heim in at the very end and had him as a vampire plus they mentioned all through the movie that Edgars brother was either dead or made into a vamp himself. I think a good movie would be explaining how Alan Frog got killed or vamped which ever is the case and to show what happened to Sam after the first movie.

I just got done watching Lost Boys 2 & it was ok , not as bad as you may think . no matter how much people may dislike this movie , there has to be a part 3 ! if you watch this movie & see the end you’ll understand what I’m talking about . but if they don’t figure out a way to have both Cory’s in it , then I wont even bother watching it . it is a must that they make a part 3 with both of them ! please if anybody hears of a part 3 in the making , please let me know !
July 30th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
I just watched “The Tribe” SOOO not a fan! The Lost Boys is one of my ALL time fav movies and I am a BIG vampire reader. I also watch the two Coreys and can I say, I hated Feldmans character. His voice was off and they should have let him cut the mullet!!! Haim was a great ending and cant wait to see part 3, I just hope its worth buying instead of renting!!! Love you both Corey!!!! Muah!
July 30th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
I just saw Lost Boys 2 and I support Feldman 110% all the way! The ending was like a shocker seeing Sam as a vampire I would die to see a 3rd one. Make Lost Boys III, Feldman and Haim in a final showdown!
July 31st, 2008 at 5:02 pm
chris and nicole were michael and star’s children. or so i think, there last name was emerson just as michaels was, and sam was a vamp in the end so yea couldnt be his children. the movie was kool beans, not by far a huge blockbuster but enjoyable if you can stop nitpicking at every single thing for a minute you find wrong. a 3rd would be cool just to see where they take the story as far as what happened to sam, and alan frog

alternate endings show where allan is and in my opinion if they follow whats in them to make 3 then theyll have one heck of a movie
August 3rd, 2008 at 5:32 pm
Lost Boys 2 wasnt as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I wish the end fight would have been more like the 1st one, but overall it was ok. Not as good as the first movie, but seriously, when are they ever? The clip in the credits was awesome and if they did a third with all that coming to a head I would SO watch it.
August 5th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Alright, it pains me to say this but Lost Boys 2 wasnt the worst movie that Ive ever seen. Granted it should never have been made and the ending could have been better. Its still better than the best movie Ewe Bol has ever done. And while LB2 did leave a lot to be desired the 2 Coreys scene after the credits did make me curious for a sequel and I also like how it turned the happy ending of part one into just a break before the bad shit apparently went down. I would definitley watch a part 3 but it better stop there and look on the brightside guys they didnt fuck up and make a Goonie 2.
August 7th, 2008 at 11:50 am
The second Lost Boys kind of sucked in my opinion. It wasnt horrible, I’d watch it again, but the original was so much better.
As for Corey’s idea on the third, I think it acually sounds a lot better than the second. Id really like to see Edgar turn into a vampire and the concept sounds really interesting.
PUT HAIM IN THE THIRD TOO!
If they end up making a third though, im just worried that its going to be even worse than the second.
August 9th, 2008 at 7:40 am
My theory at this point is the third movie has been setup. Basically the third one will be what the second one shoulda been (now try to follow me here). The reason why I say this is because Warner Bros. wants to establish a larger following and by basically by remaking the first one (I’m sorry but at the end of the day thats what they did) so now The Tribe will grab a younger audience’s attention. This movie was worth watching just to see Haim and Feldman on screen again together (even if it was just milli seconds), and when Warner Bros. realizes this then they’ll realize that the original audience will shit when the trailer’s for the 3rd one has Haim, Feldman and Newlander in it as Vampires! So basically now it all depends on Warner Bros. definition of success for their straight to DVD close to none promoting film, which can’t be much. If they think a younger audience will wanna see it because of LB2: The Tribe and the original audience will wanna see it because of Feldman, Haim and Newlander then to them that will equal success. Plus they’ll probably release it to the theaters. Lost Boys 2: The Tribe was all in all a way to test the audiences reaction, and depending on that there’s a very good chance it could happen. But maybe I’m giving Warner Bros. way too much credit, afterall they are the whole reason why Goonies 2 has been held up for so long (and yeah I think maybe The Tribe was a small test for that too… for christ sakes the Aunt in The Tribe held up the DVD. I mean come on! It’s kinda like saying “Hey younger dumbasses, if you haven’t seen one of the best movie’s ever go watch it so that when or if we spend money to make a second one you’ll wanna go see it!”). Oh and it also depends on if Haim completely fucked up his relationship with Warner Bros. If you don’t know what I mean then watch that episode of The Two Coreys when he all but ended his career on the Lost Boys 2 set.

I think people are getting lost boys 2 to hard of a time. I thought it was good but could have been better but for a dvd its not bad. The ending with sam should have just been left out because no where in the movie does it talk about sam. Corey Feldman as edgar fog talked about hard times but still it would have made the move better just to leave the ending with sam out. If the make a 3rd one and tell more about why sam wasn’t in the 2nd movie but the ending and goes storyline wise good then its ok.
August 14th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
I loved it . It was good for being 20 years in between I hope a 3 comes to. I think thats what the ending meant with sam . I hope I’m right I have always loved the Lost Boys
August 15th, 2008 at 11:30 pm
Lost boys 2 was good. I think the director open a book of questions like wondering what ever happen to the characters Star & Michael, how did Edgar brother become a Master Vampire and what is the deal with the character Sam? In other words Iam looking forward to this Lost boys 3 and seeing what is to come of the character Edgar Frog.
August 16th, 2008 at 1:02 am
I think a third movie could turn out to be awesome and would love to see what they come up with. I loved the first movie and the second one was all that bad so a third sounds good to me.
August 16th, 2008 at 1:05 am
I want to find out where they are gonna take Haim’s character Sam and how the rest got to where they are (Alan Frog). I would definitely go to see the third
August 16th, 2008 at 11:54 pm

August 17th, 2008 at 12:04 pm
Hi
I have both movies pt 1 and pt 2 and the ending has left it open for a part 3 Im really curious as to how Sam became a vampire and were is big brother Michael? Think lost boys 3 could be a good triolgy if done right! Like both Corey’s and hope it comes out soon.
August 17th, 2008 at 11:07 pm
I really feel that there should be a long line of connection to the first installment of Lost Boys with the David character as the IMDB stated his character was not suppose to die, cause he didnt explode or turn to ash, they said it was a work to use for another installment and never used it. Anyways I feel it should explain why Sam was a vampire at the end credits and why Alan wasnt used. Esgar kept saying he knows what its like to lose a sibling to the other side. Why dont they just do this, use the David character from part 1 and since he really wasnt suppose to be dead, then that means the michael character couldve still been turned also, and they could use that to an advantage instead of using it to do a 3rd installment based on Edgars inner demons. Yeah I like to see him turn full vampire, and have to deal with choosing to save his life or fall victim to the dark side but they could also include that into their storyline to give it more depth and understanding. Maybe even bringing the Alan Frog back to team up with his brother, and bring back Star, Michael, and David if they are able to reprise their roles. That would really kick butt at the box office and make a huge theatrical comeback !!!

What about Laddie? Remember him the little boy vampire
August 21st, 2008 at 12:10 am
Hey Christa, Yeah and Laddie too, they should really go into depth with everything and what happened to everyone. I think they should listen to what the fans have to say and take it into consideration :)….
