A movie should be FUN. After a hard work week, I go to see movies like the Mummy and its sequels. They are entertainment. If they’re well done a whole bunch of sequels is OK.

i was like OH MY GOD when i found out they were making another mummy film just as i was like when i found out about the indianna jones film ! not because i couldnt wait but because i knew that they would have modernised it !- i mean they just dont make them the same anymore… :(

i really love mummy 1 and 2 but i think it will go like the latest indiana jones movie just be totaly pointless, i mean its been 20 years since the last indiana movie and about 10 since the last mummy one the gap is just to big!! and now ive heard that Rachel Weisz isnt going to be in it i just think that it wont be the same

I was happy as hell when I heard of a sequal to the Mummy Returns…

Until I heard about Rachel Weisz not returning as the oh-so-important role of the wife. Man, she was a keyfabe MILF…

I am hesitant about getting excited for these sequels without Rachel Weisz. Wasn’t she wanting to do them and just wasn’t available, so they went with Maria Bello? Why? She looks like she should be Evie’s older sister or something.

What’s up with all the haters? It looks good enough to me! And like people said, I’m not looking for something profound, just 2 hours of good entertainment, which I definitely found in the first two.

On a side note, the Mummy ride at Universal Studios is amazing.

I’ll save my thoughts on whether I’d like to see further Mummy adventures after I see what Rob Cohens handy work brings us.

Since someone did bring up Indiana Jones, just curious, did anyone else out there think that the sets looked like (gasp!) sets? They were just so poorly lit in the trailer. Which is odd ‘cos with the evolution in technology and, i believe, set making, I would’ve expected them to look atleast on par with the sets in Temple of Doom.

Yes, I thought the trailer was poorly put together but I’ll still catch it first day, first show ‘cos I’m a sucka like that.

Great thanks for the clarification. Jus don’t ever mention the two again in the same sentence agian.

Also, when reading comments I tend to shy away from any type of meaningful comprehension because sometimes it’s not worth reading every rediculous comment. Like your next comment, I probably won’t even read it.

To make another point, Indiana will live forever. He drank from the Cristo cup in Last Crusade dummy. That makes him immortal. Senior’s area around his gunshot wound will live forever as well.
