My husband and I gave it a “go” since we loved The 40 year old Virgin and Knocked-Up. Walked out after one hour-perhaps the longest non-funny awful hour of our many years of movie-going. What were they thinking?

This is arguably the worst film I’ve seen in my lifetime. The acting was sophomoric. The story line flimsy. The sexual innuendo’s and cheap male nude scenes were pathetic. It even failed as a soft-core porno flick. Don’t waste your time or your money on this.

I just saw this movie, and it does not disappoint. It is very reminiscent of Knocked Up and Superbad in its style and tone, and features a lot of cast members from those movies. I was laughing from beginning to end, and I really felt for each of the characters. I actually thought the movie was a bit unpredictable at times. Excellent and hilarious.

I never doubted this movie. The reason? Jason Segel. I actually had no idea he wrote it until I read this review, though. That’s so awesome.

Agree with the first comment, I’m in for this one actually more so because of Jason Segal than Judd Apatow’s name being attached. He’s hillarious on How I Met Your Mother - can’t wait to see this one!

Yeah Brand is pretty huge in the UK. There’s not many people who don’t know who he is, or wouldn’t recognise him. His Radio 2 show, as has been said, is probably the funniest radio show in the UK, it’s top notch. I would suspect US fans can get the Podcasts too, right?

Also, he’s done a number of TV shows, as well as being a stand-up comedian. Great to see him breaking the US - was only a matter of time!

This is great to hear â€” I was a little worried about this one (the Apatow crew can’t make hits forever or can they?), but now I’m really looking forward to it. I always loved Jason Segel on Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. He’s really funny and has tremendous range. Hooray!

Russell Brand lived down the road from where I am, we went to the same school together, altho 10 years apart he did perform at my leaving ceremony a few years back when he was still a rising star…

Kinda weird seeing him with Veronica Mars and Meg from Family Guy, but oh well.

1. Jason Segel is amazing on How I met Your Mother

2. I wouldn’t call Russell Brand a comedic FIND, he’s a pretty huge celebrity in the UK, complete with an awesome BBC Radio show that you HAVE to listen to [download it from iTunes]

3. A comedy can have a visual style! Shaun of the Dead an Hot Fuzz use them in a huge way.
