Does the crosshairs on Ed Norton’s face remind anyone else of the opening to the Bill Bixby HULK tv series?

They have trailers for trailers now? Next we’re going to start seeing trailers for normal announcements.
“Next week you won’t want to miss the announcement where we tell you the name of the movie!”
March 10th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Already looks better than the 1st one
March 10th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
LOL, I knew there would be people making fun of the teaser for the trailer.
Just ridiculous. What’s sad is that this actually got me excited.
God Help them if they don’t show the hulk fully. It better not be some wack action montage of stuff flying and you don’t even see the hulk until like the last 2 seconds and he isn’t even in focus.
God help them.

I love the Bigsby feel to this. Takes me back to the old Hulk series and TV movies, Except for the bad clothes and hair duos of course.

A Hulk trailer trailer, eh?
That’s like a Croc Hunter hunter.
Though I’d rather see the Hulk movie than the Stingray movie.

Join us next week when we tell you that two weeks later we’re going to announce something that will make the following four weeks almost unbearable as you await the stunning announcement of what will prove to be yet another announcement leading up to the actual commercial for the teaser to the trailer of the film that you won’t want your great grandchildren to miss!!!!
March 11th, 2008 at 10:42 am
Wasn’t there already a HULK movie recently. It was actually pretty good… with exceptional CGI. So wtf is this dumb movie trying to prove? Why not atleast do a sequel to the first?
I’m dumbfounded that no one has any original ideas anymore…let’s do remakes to remakes… please people. You go on strike, but then you can’t write a new idea.

Cenzo,
My understanding is that Marvel was less than pleased with the direction that Ang Lee took the Hulk franchise (can it be called a franchise yet?), so they are doing a reboot of the series.
This is probably a GoodThingTM, though your comment about the lack of originality in Hollywood is pretty much dead on.

My favorite thing about this movie right now is that people actually think that Edward Norton is going to be THE hulk. As is, he is going to be what Bruce Banner turns into. All kinds of people are saying stupid stuff like ” He’s too skinny to be the hulk!”…people are morons. But this trailer looks awesome
March 11th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
look this is stupid. The incredible Hulk is one of the best, most psychologically interesting and dark superheroes. Ang Lee messed up the Hulk’s reputation as did the ninties cartoon. but the seventies series and the especially the early Hulk comics were very cool. he is one of the original four most recognised superheroes spidey, batman, Hulk and superman, and I would say apart from Batman the most interesting. This looks very promising as does the cast. I’m rooting for Hulk, it’s a hard endevour but with Tim Roth and Ed Norton nothings impossible. we might have something to rival the bat this year. Iron man looks cool as well, but he just never was quite as cool The Hulk.

I’ve seen the trailer (sources I cannot reveal! INSIDERS to say the least)! It looks AWESOME!!! The Abomination looks different from the comic, but he looks wicked. My estimation is that he was changed so as not to confuse the audience during the fight scenes.
Abomination looks kind of like the Hobgoblin in Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-man comics (almost dead-on). It is only a quick glimpse of him, but the last shot of the Hulk and Abomination barreling toward each other is classic Hulk. This looks as though they have blended the Marvel Comics Hulk books with the t.v. series quite successfully.
Ed Norton is the best Bruce Banner if you ask me. Judging by this teaser, they are making the Ang Lee Hulk look like an Emo-Gumby!

Wow.
A trailer trailer. That’s… incredible.

ALRIGHT ! NOW WE CAN GO TO THE MOVIES AGAIN
THIS IS GOING TO BE INCREDIBLE !
March 15th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Ang Lee made a very good Hulk movie. (Even Roger Ebert said so. ;)) It just wasn’t a very good “Hollywood comic book” Hulk movie. It stayed true to various storylines in the comic, including Banner’s psychological problems from child abuse and his Incredible form of multiple-personality disorder. People who don’t read decent comic books often don’t realize how non-comic-booky the stories usually are.
I can only go by the full trailer, but so far this looks to be a “Hollywood comic book” version of the Hulk. A popcorn action movie with no real substance. There is hardly an interesting thing in the entire trailer. Disappointing. But, it’s only a trailer.
