When Pixar merged wtih Disney, Steve Jobs had the brains to make sure that John Lassetter got to oversee both Disney and Pixar studios as Cheif Creative Officer. He only has to answer to Robert Iger who is nowhere near as much of a raging jerk as Robert Isner was reported to be. I think if your company has managed to make billions of dollars, even Disney will give you some leeway. I really don’t think this a Disney vs. Pixar kind of thing.
