Vincent Gallo is one of the most original performers of all time. teaming him up with the legend Coppola can only be good. By casting Gallo, Coppola proves he is still open to making great work. the negative comments posted here about Gallo seem to come from small minds sorry to say

Well, it seems the majority here sums up my feelings. Gallo is a horrible writer, director and actor. I have no idea how he is even in the spotlight. I’m not too sure about him being stabbed with a crack pipe…but if he disappeared from the Earth, that wouldn’t be too bad.

hahah, wow…that’s pretty bad.

It sounds interesting though, and I still want to see Youth without Youth - especially now since all these ‘experts’ seemed to have given it such terrible reviews. Course this could just be the post-citizen-kane syndrome and each of Francis Coppola’s films they’re expecting The Godfather.

Gallo is such a poser…

I don’t care that he’s in the film, since he’s opposite of Bardem. I guess the “good” thing about him being in this film is getting tips from Bardem on what being a good actor is like. It’s not like Ford has been hammering out the hits as of late, it seems he wants to try and work from a simplified base again? I don’t know.

All I know is there are droves of Gallo’s in every art/film school around the world. This guy has brought nothing to the table, except for being the Paris Hilton of the film scene. Maybe one day someone will give Gallo a star on the Hollywood walk of fame if he cries enough about it.
