Before you say anything to argue, though, think about whether you have actually read the comic. From what I’ve seen, everyone who says they’ve read the comic has low expectations for this, and those supporting it haven’t said whether or not they read it, so I’m guessing they haven’t. Imagine how you would feel if someone said they were making a movie of your favorite comic/book/game, and then changed the entire story (Doom, Time Machine,) thus ruining any further chance it has of being put in theaters with a more faithful script. You’d be pissed off too, and don’t try to deny it.

Who am I kidding.. this looks like a train wreck. Always slow down and watch train wrecks though so. netflix save list here we go.

As for the trailer, looks like mindless fun to me - lots of eye candy if NOTHING else. I think everyone is going to be pleasantly surprised.
