Is it just me or was Sabretooth’s costume designed by UGGs.
March 4th, 2008 at 11:50 am
why would they make Sabertooth wimpier looking than Logan?
Bad facial hair doesn’t make a Sabertooth…

WHAT
THE
F**K!
That’s it, doomed. Unless one of ST’s is look cooler, I’m a have to give that costume a 2/10.
X-Men was my favorite comic and they have REALLY let me down.

*one of ST’s mutant powers*

he is not just big enough!!! hope they shoot him in the way the did Gandalf in LOTR
March 4th, 2008 at 1:41 pm
wow… (that’s a bad wow) He is way too small and he doesn’t look strong he just looks like a redneck with a big beer belly… When I see that I don’t picture him throwing wolverine through a wall. I really hope these pictures are very raw and there will be a lot more work done to him…

I like that he looks the part of wolverines doppleganger. Hes bigger than Hugh Jackman but his arms could use some work, maybe they arent done laying on the effects he doesnt even have a claw on every finger. Im holding out that hes in mid transformation.

That really doesn’t look like Sabertooth. I guess I should have expected as much. That’s Hollywood for you. They know how to ruin things.

Dude, I’ve been saying the same thing about Hugh Jackman as Wolverine since the first XMEN.
BAD CASTING.

It might be an early days shot, pre going mental and getting big….
You can hope huh
March 5th, 2008 at 2:53 am
looks pre-make up to me. i mean, there’s a grip or some kind of crew member in the background of the first photo, they’re clearly no on set…mybe he gets longer hair and black contacts like singer’s sabretooth.
March 5th, 2008 at 7:35 am
How in the hell can they even think of having Sabretooth look like that after how they had him look in the first X-Men?
Pitiful.
March 5th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Yeah It most likely is pre-make up like some people were saying. But even so…I have a feeling they’ll screw it up anyway.
March 7th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
He is so small becuase Sabretooth wasn’t big when he first became a mutant.. This is suppose to be him becoming Sabretooth as to the first X-men movie where he was tall and muscular
March 12th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
If you look at his hand in the first picture he doesn’t even have a claw on one of his fingers. This shot has to be before make-up. Unless Sabretooth only has 4 claws on one hand. Please. This isn’t even close to finished.

wtf is that. sabertooth is supose to be Bigger. I mean Ripped, and close to 8 or 9 feet tall, claws, fangs and a big main. He looks nothing like him. Hows he going to stand up to Wolverine? He cant even match up to the look. Sabertooth can lift tons. He doesnt even look like he can bench 250. I mean come on! This is such a disapiontment for true Marvel fans evrywhere. Well atleast the one in the first movie was ok. someting like that. But yonger and stronger looking. not this guy. Im sorry dude, but your not sabertooth.

Long time fan of ST, and I was glad to see him in the X movies.
I was even happier to see that they were going to include him in the Wolv solo flick. From what I have read and from the mere pretense of the movie… I am glad to see they are going to actually dive into WHO ST is, not just let him toss Wolv around and get treated like a dog by Magneto (appropriate, lol).
If I have done my math correctly, and a logical deduction… this is the portion of the film that is set in WW II, pre weapon X experiments, etc. Wolv and ST are the only members of the “mutant casting” that were involved with this portion of the filming. Storming the beach during WW II… one MIGHT assume this is when they are enlisted men, not full blown SAVE/DESTROY the world Mutants. Early stages of their mutant selves, most likely how they get ENLISTED into the whole weapon X thing…
Wolv and ST are most likely BOTH sporting the old GI haircuts, with the exception of the out of control facial hair in order to fit the time period. Not too hard to fathom that 60 years later, and a lot of experiments/training… he would become the ST that we see in the other X films.
Just my take on it… wont condone or condemn it… but at least it looks like they are going to build the character this time… be that good or bad, we will see.
Marvel has some say so in this… I will be an optimist…
