Is it just me or does the Sabertooth picture at the top look like he really has to go poo but having trouble? The facial expression and the way he is sitting just scream Ummmmmph!!! as he is giving it one final push. Come on! Did you really want them to have a huge musclebound guy with a yellow mane and a fur collar? You really did? Did you want Gambit to wear those violet hot pants too? And Wolverine to wear bright yellow body suit? Har! Now that would be an interesting film to see. If you want to see stuff like that you need to go to the Drag show downtown.

Liev Schrieber was excellent as Sabertooth. Lets face it. No way can an overgrown idiot wearing a cat suit work out. Thats why they had to completely overhaul the whole concept. The Victor Creed in the movie is a badass even compared to Wolverine. He makes the movie great. And he is still hot. Who would want to see a dip shit roaring and wearing a lion mane? Is that even scary? If I saw someone that looked like Mane I would die of laughter. It was pathetic. This was a real movie. Not just a bad excuse for some guys to remember the comic book collection their mommy threw out. Most people will love this film. I guess proven by the fact that it did extremely well at the box office. Now I can not wait to see Ryan as Deadpool. He was born to play Deadpool with his smart ass attitude.

irs amazing that schrieber trained for 4 months(or so he says) and ended up looking like he did in the movie. what a pathetic attempt from him and the creators of the movie. and schrieber is so defensive of his size in interviews, because he knows he was soft as fuck, and tried to push the fact that hes 6'3" tall. so what schrieber, ur fat.

This was a good movie... I saw a critics release, and once you see sabertooth done by schreiber, there is no going back to X-men 1 sabertooth. Srieber looks much cooler, and his teeth are done better... overall i liked this film better that X1 and X2 put together

Matt is correct, Creed/Sabertooth and Logan/Wolverine were already grown ups and looked exactly the same as in the present time, except that Sabertooth has had enhancements done on him recently that were unrelated to the weaponX project.

Hey Sabrnteeth. Of course they had to change stuff! The sabertooth in the Marvel comic books is a kids bad guy. He is tall, blond, and wearing a cat suit and a mane! A guy in a cat suit can not be scary. So they had to change him to give this an adult feel. In this Victor Creed and Logan are brothers. Doesn't it make sense they look alike? And who wouldn't be embarassed to go out of the house in a tight furry costume? Im glad they are completely changing a lot of the silly things. They are still keeping the important stuff. Long time fan of ST, and I was glad to see him in the X movies.

I was even happier to see that they were going to include him in the Wolv solo flick. From what I have read and from the mere pretense of the movie... I am glad to see they are going to actually dive into WHO ST is, not just let him toss Wolv around and get treated like a dog by Magneto (appropriate, lol).

If I have done my math correctly, and a logical deduction... this is the portion of the film that is set in WW II, pre weapon X experiments, etc. Wolv and ST are the only members of the "mutant casting" that were involved with this portion of the filming. Storming the beach during WW II... one MIGHT assume this is when they are enlisted men, not full blown SAVE/DESTROY the world Mutants. Early stages of their mutant selves, most likely how they get ENLISTED into the whole weapon X thing...

Wolv and ST are most likely BOTH sporting the old GI haircuts, with the exception of the out of control facial hair in order to fit the time period. Not too hard to fathom that 60 years later, and a lot of experiments/training... he would become the ST that we see in the other X films.

Just my take on it... wont condone or condemn it... but at least it looks like they are going to build the character this time... be that good or bad, we will see.

wtf is that. sabertooth is supose to be Bigger. I mean Ripped, and close to 8 or 9 feet tall, claws, fangs and a big main. He looks nothing like him. Hows he going to stand up to Wolverine? He cant even match up to the look. Sabertooth can lift tons. He doesnt even look like he can bench 250. I mean come on! This is such a disapiontment for true Marvel fans evrywhere. The one in the first movie was a disaster. Thats why they are going to make him completely different. Looking just like the Marvel Sabertooth is just plain stupid. Come on! Look at him. If you look at his hand in the first picture he doesn't even have a claw on one of his fingers. This shot has to be before make-up. Unless Sabretooth only has 4 claws on one hand. Please. This isn't even close to finished.

I like that he looks the part of wolverines doppleganger. Hes bigger than Hugh Jackman but his arms could use some work, maybe they arent done laying on the effects he doesnt even have a claw on every finger. Im holding out that hes in mid transformation.
