Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Update: Paramount has confirmed this poster as a FAKE.

Paul at the movie chronicles sent us a photo of a new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull found out in the wild. I much prefer the teaser poster. Shia LaBeouf looks rather strange, and I’m still not on board with the greaser with a sword visual. Let’s hope that this is a promo poster and not the film’s theatrical one-sheet.

    Lame indeed. This has gotta be 3rd string promo art of some kind. Seriously that looks like a rejected young adults spin off paper back cover.

    If this is indeed the next poster proper Spielberg is officially not paying attention to the marketing of this movie.
  • The artist captured Shia's lame personality instead of his actual looks. I'd be embarrassed if this left my production company.

    no, i'm pretty sure there were much faker ones for the dark knight. this doesn't immeadiately strike me as fake.

    shia really should look more bad ass though.

    This poster is terrible. The Indy posters of the pass have shown adventure, action and comedy. This show nothing at all. In addition this poster isn't bad because of Shia. It's because it only shows Shia and Ford. I mean where are the other characters, wheres Karen and Kate aren't they in the film as well. Speilberg needs to wake up and get his mind right. Peace

    Are we sure this isn't fan art? Every time a big movie comes out, there always seems to be posters or concept art that turns out to be from some artist's "spec" portfolio and not official.

    This looks alot like the DVD artwork. The previous DVDs in the Indiana Jones collection (Widescreen) have the same background color.

    At least Harrison doesn't look as old in this poster as the previous.
