Jason Statham Returns for Transporter 3

Transporter 3

Jason Statham will return as Frank Martin, for the third installment of the Transporter series. Variety reports that Francois Berleand (The Transporter) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break) have also been cast. Transporter 3 will shoot for 16 weeks in Russia and France.

Now for the bad news… Louis Leterrier, who helmed the first two films and is in post-production on The Incredible Hulk has been replaced by Olivier Megaton. So basically, they are replacing the guy who made The Transporter with the guy who was a second unit director on Hitman. Yeah, doesn’t sound good.

  • Lets not forget that while Transporter (1) was good, the second one was ultra crap.. so maybe the director switch aint such a bad thing....
  • I liked hitman way more than transporter 2, but hopefully they can bring back some of the transporter 1 magic
  • welp...good thing the first two transporters weren't good...this way I won't be let down by the third one.

As long as he stop taking roles in any medieval fantasy films

    Megaton will deliver.

Hes willing to do a third when the second was crap .

but wasnt willing to do Hitman wich was the role he was born for ?

I will be very suprised this movie doesnt completely suck
  • olivier megaton also directed movies included an adaptation of scifi author Dantec but did not encountered success in france. i think he has 'visual' and camera skills. he can renew the franchise which is so-so (sorry for bad english).
  • I've met him a few times, he is a really cool humble guy. I like his acting and his films. I do think they went too Hollywood on the making of the second one, but it was still a great film.

I absolutely don't care for Transporter 3 regardless of the director or anything else. The only Jason Statham related movie I would keep an eye on is Crank 2.

hey,I like the guy and anything that he stars in I'm watching where it is bad or good. Sometimes you just can't get enough of a good actor. Way to go Jason. Things always have a way of looking up
when you think that you are down. I like that accent, too.
