I seem to be in the minority in saying that I really like the trailer, even if there isn't a whole lot of gore. But really, if they gave away a lot of the gore, they'd be spoiling the biggest set pieces in the film. This isn't like Rambo or AVP:R; there isn't a high body count, and innocent people don't get shot and killed every minute. That being said, test screening reports are extremely positive, and numerous horror media outlets have been screened a few clips which were described as "bordering incredible". I’ve been following the project a while now, as “The Ruins” is one of my favorite novels.
