I think that they screwed this movie over a bit. The vampires look retarded…literally, they have face deformities. Why couldn’t they just stick to the good ‘ol contact lenses and vampire teeth. Now these vampires look like the creepy ones from Dusk Til Dawn. But i still can’t wait to watch it. Still a big fan of Lost Boys no matter what.

Does anyone here know who DEPECHE MODE are?Well the lead singer of DEPCHE MODE has just came out with a NEW SOLO ALBUM called “HOURGLASS” & the reason why I bring this up is because I listen to the album & realy thought that a song called “21 DAYS” should be on the NEW “LOST BOYS” MOVIE! IF you listen to this song you will now why,but you have to listen to it to the very end! It has the same vibe as “cry little sister” & plus it has a dark kinda scary vampire vibe aswell!This song should truly be in the sequel! In the song it sings that “The sun is dissapearing on the horizon,you realy should come take a look”I am telling you this song “21 DAYS” By:Dave Gahan Lead Singer of Depeche Mode from his NEW SOLO ALBUM “HOURGLASS” Would make an excellent addition to the Lost boys sequel & the lost boys sound track!PLEASE LOOK UP THIS SONG & LISTEN TO THE WHOLE SONG ESPECIALY THE VERY END WHEN THE CHANTING & HOWLING TAKES PLACE IT TRULY SOUNDS GOTHIC & SCARY WHICH WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THIS FILM!PLEASE RESPOND & TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!IF YOU LIKE THE SONG SPREAD THE NEWS & WHO KNOWS MAYBE THEY CAN AT LEAST ADD THE SONG FOR THE CREDITS OR SOMETHING!THANKS!

lost boys was an awesome movie and it will be tough to even imagine a part 2 without alot of the same cast in first lost boys.without using some of same actors based from first film i predict it probably wont even touch the first movie.

Really, fu*k you man. As if you wouldnt have “sold out” a.k.a make a living, if you got the chance to do what you think is fun? And in this case, it’s actors well, acting. You see where i’m going here?

I’m from sweden so i’m finding it hard to put in words but come on man, give them a break god damnit.
Be happy the movie is even made, dont fu*king see it if you dont want to, it’s not like someone is putting a gun to your ignorant head.

First of all, the writer and Director can talk all they want. this will NEVER live up to nor be anywhere as close to the original.

first of all, one of the greatest things about the Lost boys was it’s hip Factor. The Soundtrack was rad, the style was rad…come on, this movie is gonna blow.

A lot of Us fans fought and petitioned to keep a sequel from being made all together. Joel Schumacher did’t want this made either. At least his Lost Girls, Bi!!!es with fangs idea was better then surfer boys.
I would not pay to see this in a theater, probly wouldnt see it on DVD either.

I know I’m gonna take a lot of slack from this, but I just re-watched The Lost Boys a few weeks ago and it seriously was terrible.

There is so much about that movie that doesn’t stand the test of time, and I totally see why it’s taken so long to come up with a sequel. (although other, poorer movies have had the green light for several sequels in the past).

If everyone was given the option of watching the original FOR FREE before the sequel comes out, the sequel would definitely be a straight to DVD release because the original isn’t very good.

I think it look promising. If more people would get behind this flick then maybe it will actually get the big screen release that it deserves!!

Sheesh, calm down a bit. It’s only one image and for me it doesn’t really reveals much one way or the other. The Backgorund Vampires in the original film weren’t that elaborate designed either and to be frank, i always felt that the design of the vampires was kind of a weak point anyway. What sold it was Kiefers and Ed Hermanns performance, not the rather common look of the make-up. I’d worry more if they managed to come up with a decent script that reflects and tries to recapture all the things that where fun in the first film, which might be quite a challenge, considering the cast is now considerably older and might have quite a bit of their chemistry and charm. I could live with more pedestrian make up effects, if the story, music and overall style while be in the vein of the old movie…
