No, Jessica Alba isn’t starring in a remake of Scream. The photo above is part of a pictorial Alba did for Latina magazine, where she recreated some famous horror scenes. The other horror films Alba attempts to recreate includes Psycho, The Birds, Rosemary’s Baby, and even The Ring. Check out some of the other photos after the jump.
The idea of Hollywood recreation photoshoots is nothing new. It actually appears to be a growing trend. Earlier this month we published photos from Vanity Fair, where they tried to recreate famous scenes from the films of Alfred Hitchcock, using modern day stars. And then, of course, there is the Dream Portrait series from Walt Disney, which puts Hollywood’s famous stars into live-action versions of the animated classics (for example, Jessica Biel as Pocahontas, and Rachel Weisz as Snow White).

I really, really, really think she is overrated. Usually, you get away with being a terrible actress by being really hot, but Jessica Alba is no better than the skinnier girls you see in Lowrider magazine.
She’s completely boring to look at. I’m not sure why a lot of guys seem to have a thing for her. It’s probably the fact that she’s a Latina who non-Latino guys feel they have a chance to get with because she’s “whiter” than most Latinas and won’t be so in-your-face like so many other latinas we’ve grown up with.
P.S. She looks like a MAN in the psycho shower scene.

Wow the Psycho and Rosemary’s Baby pictures are really unflattering. Not sure why she keeps getting work since none of her movies make any money (except Fantastic 4 but even that is low on the superhero movie totem pole).

The Rosemary’s Baby one is truly terrible. It’s supposed to be the first glimpse of her devilspawn, but it’s weak… like a reaction to an overcooked turkey or the end of a Lifetime movie.
