It's a result of a crappy cell phone camera and phosphorescent lighting. His hair is black. This Hulk is perfect. The 2003 Hulk used the design from the comics, which was a bad move. Being a 2D character...the comic Hulk is massive with ridiculous proportions, and super green skin. Work well in the comics....looks like crap in live action. This Hulk is a nice blend between the comics Hulk and the Lou Ferrigno Hulk. His skin is a more subdued green, which helps quite a bit, Although his hands and feet are very large, they are not ridiculously proportioned. This Hulk bridges the gap between believability and science fiction. Maybe its a trick of the light, but the Hulk did start as grey in the comics before becoming the more familiar green. There was also a period in the eighties where he was grey again. Go watch the dvd and it was director ANG LEE who did all the mocap stuff and the hulk face was actually ang lee's not eric bana's. That being said i like this hulk more. ILM got some flack for its work on Hulk - many criticized it as looking fake.
