Hawk didn't have any blond in his hair, it looked pretty much just like his hair in the pic.

they are setup to be not a "REAL AMERICAN HERO" , but
rather a 'global police unit' kind of like the UN.

you know... the UN; who's always fighting faceless enemies
as not to 'offend anyone' such as hunger, poverty, disease,
obesity etc.

Stuff that the Red-Cross and similar groups are good at.

They wouldn't dare fight an actual people; being how they
are supposed to be a MILITARY force; I don't see the point.

GI-JOE's real premise was to "...fight an Evil terrorist organization
determined to rule the world"

How much money do you want to bet that this film will in no way
feature an Islamic state???

The Producers say they want the 'Joes' to appeal to a broader
audience. (this is bull of course; the main audience is the 'larger'
audience ie; Americans) This is their way of trying to train us in
their vision of puppies & hugs to every idiot that wants to hurt
Americans, so we can live in a world where we don't 'offend' people.

Ever try that approach with the school bully?? Every grade schooler
knows that doesn't work. It's the same fkn thing between nations.

I don't think real generals dye their hair or leave it long enough for a D.A. hair do. As a regular army brat, I think it looks totally inauthentic.

I do agree that it's stupid for them to be world police. Im pretty anti-war and my dad would say unpatriotic, but the entire premise for the cartoon was them being all-american heros. who cares who they're fighting, they shoud still be based in the US and kicking the ass of some sort of terrorist

Hasbro came out and said they're not going to be a Global task force. They will be the GI Joe we all know and love and work out of the PIT. The movie takes places all around the globe. I hope they use stunt men for CC and Destro because I always thought Destro should be like 6'5 and muscular and CC should be maybe 6'3 and kinda toned. Looking at the actors who are playing my favortite bad guys kinda worries me. They don't look all that tough.

You could not be more correct. This is Harry in Liberia. Hollywood is going to make some watered down garbage to sell the Happy Meal but will make zero impact. In my city we say is like a nuetered dog. In Monrovia we have a GI Joe movie that is hardcore called Canzo Empyrean. This is only for the Wicked Men not for the children!
