Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Comic Book Cover

Last month Dark Horse Comics premiered the cover for the comic book adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull by artist Steve Anderson. Both issues of the Dark Horse companion comic will have variant edition covers. One will be drawn by legendary poster artist Drew Struzan, and the other by Hugh Fleming. AICN found the alternative cover seen above, but it’s not clear who created it. My guess is Fleming was behind the design, since it has such a different style from Stuzan’s teaser poster. Interesting of note, the poster offers our first official look at the alien-looking crystal skull. Click on the image above to enlarge.

is anyone else sick of all of these god damn indiana jones updates on /film, there seems to be 3 or 4 pointless ones a day…

Larry: Personally, I think it’s a bit much myself, but we track pageviews tagged to upcoming movies, and our stats show that Indiana is by far the #2 most read thing on the site even when divided by post quantity.

ah yes, that’s understandable, but indy updates would be nice if we could get a lump of indiana jones information, not just a comic cover, then some photos, and a plush doll. Now if those were put together, we would get just as much info and possibly more views then all 3 separated (I’m just saying, what do i know I’m just a college student)

don’t get me wrong, i love indiana jones, but it can be a bit much

also, you won’t hear me complaining on valentines day when i get to see that wonderful teaser!!!!!!!!!

Looks like one of those spirits from the Ark on the right side just before the red patch.

    Peter, what is number 1?

For upcoming movies it is The Dark Knight. Cloverfield had held the #1 spot since July.
