The Abomination

CHUD has a scan of a new toy advertisement featuring our first look at The Abomination from The Incredible Hulk reboot/sequel.  Emil Blonsky, played in the film by Tim Roth, is transformed into The Abomination after nation after injecting himself with Banner’s gamma formula out of spitefulness. We’ve also included a photo of The Abomination from the comic books below for comparison.

The Incredible Hulk will hit theaters on June 13th 2008.

looks good. it reminds me of the fight in LXG between mr.hyde and the potion-engorged baddie.

weird how quiet this movie has been … not a trailer, not a buzz.

Wow, is that how he’s gonna look?
In my eyes, that looks really, really bad. Nothing like the abomination at all. Damn.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo! It’s a lie! This is NOT True… Noooo!

wonder why they can never just have blind faith in a good comic - i’ve got the same worry about ‘wanted’, a literal translation would have been very unique…the abomination comic is great, the toy looks like spawn without his garb.

Good creature design that is not.

It justs seems incredibly boring, bland, and uninspired, as far as design goes. Especially when comparing it to the comic design. It might look a lot better in the film, actually moving, but of course we won’t know for sure for quite some time now.

how is a cheap toy supposed to give anything other than a very remote indication of what will actually be on-screen?

Another film maker who thinks he knows everything about what people want to see. I was excited about the movie and now I’m not. This SUCKS!
