Sam Raimi doesn’t get his dream job of directing the Lord of the Rings Hobbit prequels… What is the Spider-Man director to do? Anything he wants - he’s Sam f’n Raimi. And what Raimi wants is the hottest actress in Hollywood right now in his next film.
Ellen Page has been cast in Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell, which Raimi wrote with his brother Ivan. After Spider-Man 3, Raimi has something to prove, and is returning to the genre where he made his name - horror. The director’s long-time collaborator Robert Tapert describes the film as follows: “Sam calls it a ’spook-a-blast,’ a wild ride with all the chills and spills that ‘Evil Dead’ delivered, without relying on the excessive violence of that film.” It’s a morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse.
Hell will begin principal photography in Los Angeles on March 17th 2008.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Ellen Page is not actually the hottest actress in Hollywood right now.
You can like Juno all you want, Peter, but saying things like that are beyond farcical.

So I guess that Ellen Page isn’t the #1 searched movie actress on IMDB’s Professional service… oh wait, she is.

Oh c’mon. That’s a really specious use of “evidence” for your claim and, frankly, it’s because people don’t know who she is and are looking her up.
She’s not even the hottest actress in Hollywood under 25. People don’t have to look up Scarlett Johansson or Keira Knightley, etc. because they already know who they are. They’re already established and in tremendous demand. The idea of Ellen Page having eclipsed that is naive and delusional- though cute.
I think Page was terrific in a few decent small movies and she very well could become a big star with a great career (it’s all about making good choices), but I think your die-hard fanaticism for Juno has led you to be rather silly.

I like Page, I think she’s a good actress. And Raimi rocks too, so hopefully the movie is awesome.
