Taken Movie Trailer

Taken You might be wondering, what is Taken? I’m not talking about the Steven Spielberg produced alien abduction miniseries from a few years ago.

I’m talking about the new french triller from District B13 director Pierre Morel, based on a script co-written by Robert Mark Kamen (The Transporter) and Luc Besson (The Professional). Liam Neeson stars as a father who goes on a manhunt after his daughter is kidnapped in Paris.

Taken is set to be released overseas in February 2008, and currently doesn’t have a U.S. release. I don’t see why Fox wouldn’t release this film in the states. It looks like it hasÂ lot of American sensibilities, a great cast, intense story, and fantastic cinematography. Watch the trailer below.

Wow, this movie was pretty entertaining. Great action with solid acting and a good story. I was lucky enough to get a dvd screener version of this movie...im about to go watch it a second time.

Yeah, I hope they release this in America soon. February and March are generally pretty terrible months for movies. This looks like an amped up version of Ransom crossed with Frantic.

i saw the other trailer to, but this one is better. the line "they gonna take you" makes your hart stop; does't appear in the other trailer. i can say 100% that the movie is great. you should not miss it. i come now from the cinema and i wanna watch the movie all over again. awsome what a father can do for his child.

Great action film - but the States doesn't need one more film with the evil arab trope. We got plenty of them. Put it on the heap in the war of "Good against Evil"

This movie has it all, excellent cinematology, plotline, terrific believeable actors. I'm a firm believer that this type of thing actually occurs in some parts of the world. Liam reminded me of a young Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity trilogies. For an older gent he ain't no joke, he will definitely hurt you oh so badly to find his daughter. I LOVED this movie.

Amazing movie as expected. Great story, excellent acting. The dialogue Liam tells over the phone to the kidnapper, the one he tells his daughter they gonna take you are amazing. Best action piece. Loved this movie

An excellent movie. One of the most intelligent films in this genre. The dramaturgy, the actors, everything fits perectly. And Liam is acting so good, i dont know if he ever performed better. Favourite scene for me is the talking to the kidnappers when they are taking the daughter. It gave me goosebumps. Enjoy!

I loved this movie! I like Liam Neeson anyway so I was biased from the beginning. However, I am an avid fan of action moves, i.e. Die Hard, Bourne, Lethal Weapon etc. This film did not disappoint! Action from the beginning, Liam acting his heart out and doing a great job! This guy ain't gonna let those bad guys get away with anything! Of course, the ending is fairly predictable - we know he's gonna win in the end. But it was well worth the journey. Highly recommended. Go see this movie and cheer Liam on!

I recently saw this movie. I think it's being released in the US in January 2009. Don't ask how I've seen it. But this movie was unexpectedly very good. I've watched it twice over the last week. Kind of a cross between the Bourne movies and James Bond. I definitely recommend this movie.

I just watched this movie on a bus ride to Casino Rama. It is one of the best action flicks I have seen in a while. I am not sure why it was not released in the US before now but it goes to show that America is not the trend setter for new movies. I recommed this movie to all anyone who wants to see an action packed movie and get blown away with the story line.
