There is a reason why there's "nothing controversial" about this film. Most movies on this or any political topic are intended for audiences who already hold the film maker's opinions. No hard-core republicans watched "Who Killed the Electric Car?" No conservatives watch Michael Moore films. Most political documentaries don't change anyone's minds because they start off alienating people who don't already hold their opinion. "Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden" is different because it's not insulting to people who don't already understand that not everyone from the middle east is a terrorist. Sadly there are literally millions of people in the US who are scared of anyone wearing a turban. This film is aimed at those people - without being insulting or talking down. If he started out bashing Bush, a lot of people would stop listening and not even give the film a chance (and he does mention that the US needs to be more careful "who they elect sheriff"). Hopefully this film will change minds. Those of us who already know this stuff might find it remedial, but I'm glad he was willing to take the risk to try to actually change the minds that need changing.

I saw Spurlock's film at Sundance. SuperSizeMe was way better. There is nothing contraversial in this movie. Spurlock shows he knows little about politics or the War on Terror. Sure he is funny, but his politics are way off and he comes across out of his league. I learned a lot from SuperSizeMe, but in this film I learned little new. He documents or uncovers no new information. This is a film for people who don't watch the news or don't care. The Daily Show and John Stewart would have done this film much better. For example, Spurlock does not even criticize Bush for failing to get Bin Laden. It's like he doesn't really know why he's making this movie. The graphics are funny and cool, but in the long run the film makes little sense and you will walk away forgetting it all. I hope his next project is better.

Many thanks, Peter. "The whole film leads up to a nicely wrapped up conclusion, and you’ll be a better person for coming along on the journey." And that about sums up what I wanted to know.

I told you motherfucker! Remember me? The dude that saw this shit 3 weeks ago? It's funny though, the animation wasent in the version I saw, mostly storyboards. No such thing as the holy grail in this one. It's good, but not holy grail good.
