I saw a private screening of this film last night, and it was AMAZING! Excellent story, fabulous acting, and really really fun! I laughed the whole way through, and there really wasn't a dull moment!!! Josh Peck is going to be a huge star.

I watched the premier of the movie in Park City and i had the pleasure to vote, and meet the director, and the cast, ya sir Ben was there, Josh and Olivia. I loved the movie and loved the soundtrack, i was in hight school in the 90's so i identified with the music so much. I hope this movie is a winner, cant wait for the soundtrack to come out.
xoxo. "I heart Sundance"

[...] /Film The Wackness seems slightly reminiscent of Darren Aronofsky’s indie classic from 2000, Requiem for a Dream, implementing great cinematography, pale colors and a washed out palette, and a nostalgic storyline. It really reminds me of the days of Clerks and Reservoir Dogs at Sundance, where the movies are brave and energetic and yet still have that very independent feeling. This is a film for the new generations of moviegoers. [...]

The process of making a movie can change pretty dramatically, but I read the script last summer and it was pretty bad. What I saw was another coming-of-age story about a drug dealer with bad pot jokes and references to getting laid, obviously written by someone under 30. Maybe the film had potential, a lot can be done during filming/editing. But I read more interesting things in film school.
