Fuck Fuck Fuckitty Fuck Fuck Fuck
January 15th, 2008 at 12:15 am
Who are the morons counting is what is scary.
January 15th, 2008 at 12:21 am
And not a Mamet film in the bunch. Just goes to show he’s particular with his f-bombs.
January 15th, 2008 at 12:48 am
That is quite a diverse list. The F-word has become so common now, I barely notice it anymore.
January 15th, 2008 at 1:18 am
I couldn’t decide if this was funny or sad, because some movies really rely on swearing as plot device & character establishment. Then I reread the list and found that alot of these movies are really fucking good!
January 15th, 2008 at 1:40 am
Can you really not bring yourself to say “fuck” even if the topic under discussion is the use of the word fuck?
That’s some heavy repression, man.
January 15th, 2008 at 1:58 am
The HBO series Deadwood had 2980 fucks in three seasons, with an average of 1.56 FPM (fucks per minute).
There are some great YouTube videos of all the fucks strung together:
Deadwood: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsPYJIat0lo
Big Lebowski: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU2ZgaQ_H-Y
January 15th, 2008 at 2:46 am
You forgot Glen Gary Glenn Ross!
January 15th, 2008 at 3:14 am
I expected Snatch to be up there. I guess they didn’t count the times Brad Pitt’s character said it because of comprehension issues.
January 15th, 2008 at 4:51 am
What about “Midnight Run”?
January 15th, 2008 at 5:53 am
haha dennis “FPM” haha. Where does Phone Booth fall in?
January 15th, 2008 at 5:54 am
The movie ‘Fuck’ doesn’t count, due to the fact that it strings together all the scenes from all the most curse-heavy films on that list.
I gotta think that MIDNIGHT RUN should be up there somewhere. Even if it isn’t high in sheer numbers, it’s the absolute best film for cursing, because it uses it better than any film I’ve ever seen, specifically in the most profane telephone conversation ever committed to film.

Has any body mention Dennis hopper in blue velvet for his perfect F word moment i have never seen that topped
January 15th, 2008 at 7:09 am
No Glengarry Glen Ross? I demand a recount!
January 15th, 2008 at 8:46 am
I know it’s one of my personal favorites.
January 15th, 2008 at 9:27 am
This list has Running Scared on it. Did anyone ever see that movie? It disturbed meee.
January 15th, 2008 at 10:39 am
What about the southpark movie?
January 15th, 2008 at 1:05 pm
Correct me if Im wrong,
Notice how there are only 3 Samuel L. Jackson movies on this list..lol
Goodfellas (Yes he is in Goodfellas, dunno if he says the f-bomb in it)
Pulp Fiction
Formula 51
I thought there’d be more…
January 15th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
Yeah, Uh… What the fuck, South Park: Bigger Longer And Uncut had the record last time I checked, with 399 utterances. I’m apalled to see that not listed.
Also: Scarface Drinking Game (or how to get alcohol poisoning)
Drink every time someone says “fuck” or “mang.”
Or you know, do it with Romero’s Dawn of the Dead and drink every time you see something plaid. You’ll be puking before they even reach the mall.
January 15th, 2008 at 1:43 pm
How is it possible that the Southpark Movie isn’t on this list?
January 15th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
Wow, what’s amazing is that the first place movie nearly DOUBLES the count of the second place movie! Not even close!
January 15th, 2008 at 4:41 pm
“F**k” (the movie) was fabulous. I think I remember they actually kept count throughout the movie. Another good one that examines things like these was “This Film is Not Yet Rated”, available from Netflix.
January 15th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
phone booth?
January 15th, 2008 at 5:56 pm
I used to be a homeless rodeo clown but now I am a world class magician !
January 15th, 2008 at 5:56 pm
i thought superbad would be at top part of the list …
well it seems so when i was watching it …
January 15th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
W.T.F.
January 15th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
Bully had like 241 or something like that…
January 15th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Sexy Beast
January 15th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
Where is Full Metal Jacket on here?
January 15th, 2008 at 6:52 pm
I’m sure that Harlem Nights with Eddie Murphy has to be up near the top of that list. The fact that it’s not even on there shows they didn’t do much research before posting this list.
January 15th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Snatch? :(
January 15th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
What about ‘The Blair Witch Project”?.. fuck…lol
January 15th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
@Dennis
haha.. FPM!? *rofl*
–
those movies never got into our country due to the ficking (new word..xD) MTRCB.. I dunno.. Censoring committee in the phils? fick them.. but i watched “My Name is Joe” last month..
But when looking at this point, the word “f*ck” is really used as a part of their context and not much cursing sensation (self cursing, yes).. aw.. what the heck.. f*ck it.. xD
January 15th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
What about Raging Bull? Sure, it’s a bit old, but…
My mom took my friend and I to see it (we were about 15). None of us had any idea what we were getting into.
Fuck.
January 15th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
For more, see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_that_most_frequently_use_the_word_%22fuck%22
This wikipedia entry also includes the “fuck-per-minute” count for all of the above movies
(and many others). Curious thing is that “Casino” - #3 above - ranks so highly because
the fucking movie is 3hrs long!
January 15th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Can´t believe White Sands isn´t on this list.. The use of the f-word got me turned off of the movie and I started disliking it.
(I sound like a member of cap-alert but i assure you i´m not.)
January 15th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
How about the original Slapshot - 186 times (according to a rare interview with Paul Newman)…
http://imdb.com/title/tt0076723/
January 15th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
Snatch had 159 fucks, just outside the list.
January 15th, 2008 at 8:16 pm
This list seems rather inaccurate.
Surely there are a fuckload more movies with over 200 “fucks” atleast.
January 15th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
ha, this reminds of this group on Facebook which is dedicated to the word fuck…probably one of the most in depth groups that have a topic towards anything. You make the call….

January 15th, 2008 at 8:39 pm
Scarface is the best, Al pacino constantly saying FUCK from the side of his mouth is hilarious, and i will inpersonate it ever chance i get
January 15th, 2008 at 8:46 pm
I’m surprised “The Commitments” is not n this list. Those Irish can make a nun blush :)
January 15th, 2008 at 9:18 pm
as it was mentioned before, Glengarry Glen Ross
and it probably had one of the best casts out of all these movies…
January 15th, 2008 at 9:23 pm
What’s the percentage?
January 15th, 2008 at 10:42 pm
“I’m surprised “The Commitments†is not n this list. Those Irish can make a nun blush :)”
Movie Year “Fuck” count Minutes FPM #
The Commitments 1991 169 118 1.43 [58]
January 15th, 2008 at 10:59 pm
What about Good Will Hunting that seemed to use the F-word every other sentence?
January 15th, 2008 at 11:31 pm
Wow, I am more shocked at the people counting this. Do they get paid for doing this? Where do I apply?
January 16th, 2008 at 3:00 am
Fucking good list. Im going to have to add these to my fucking blog.
January 16th, 2008 at 8:16 am
okay, so scareface has 182!
January 16th, 2008 at 8:49 am
dang it…. phone booth only had 122…. if you are not aware of this movie its the one with colin farrel who gets held hostage in a phone booth by asniper
January 16th, 2008 at 10:48 am
I wonder if you all do a count in music to see who’s ALBUM contains thee most instances of thee word FUCK…who would win!!!I got my bet placed on Eminem…not counting the intro where he clearly is saying FACK not FUCK!!!LOL
January 16th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
It’s entirely too bad their list is lacking some of the largest contributors. Kevin Smith has a few that are just under F*ck and they completely forgot South Park the movie especially considering the fact the movie/documentary F*ck f’in spells it out for you.
Good job guys on watching a film and counting the # of times it was used without REALLY listening and getting a few more films added without sitting around and counting.
January 16th, 2008 at 5:04 pm
WHERE THE FUCK IS FARGO
January 16th, 2008 at 6:09 pm
But the absolute best cursing was “The Commitments”
They made it an art form
January 17th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
Hey
where is scarface with there 226 fuck?
January 19th, 2008 at 9:19 pm
scarface has a lot more, tony says it 284 times alone.
January 20th, 2008 at 11:47 pm
You forgot Dusk Till Dawn!!!
January 21st, 2008 at 10:58 am
Where is South Park bigger longer and uncut????
January 21st, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Oldest film: 1983
says something about how more acceptant people are today of the word.
January 21st, 2008 at 8:37 pm
@ scarface supporters: the band blink 182 got their ‘182′ from the number of times tony says fuck in the movie…not the higher#’s reported. I’ll post a site where you can go see this fact. Sorry.
May 9th, 2008 at 6:58 am
you forgot Eddie Murphy Delirious it swears 230 times in 69 minutes
