Sorry to go geek guys, but Stan "The Man" Lee has had his hands in mostly every character up there. He's either scripted, art-directed, or edited all of these characters. You don't have to create a character to help flesh out characteristics that will make that character identifiable forever.

*One such case is Stan's first published story in Timely Comics Captain America Comics #3. In which he gave the world Cap's now famous ricocheting shield-toss.

Don't be so quick to comment before you research what you're commenting on kiddos. Especially when you doing so to one of the most respected names that has ever laid pen to comic paper.

Excelsior!

Yeah it's kinda strange to have an art exhibit dedicated to Stan Lee, but feature characters (like Wolverine and Cap for starters) that he didn't create. I think they were just going for a general Marvel tribute, but some artists decided to focus on Stan Lee.
It's hard to criticize anything to do with comics though without sounding like a douche bag.

You know why Stan Lee didn't draw his characters distorted and blocky? Because it not an art form. It just sucks. You can not draw, so stop you talentless people.

And I am not hating on all of it.
