I know this may be a tough one but there was a frankenstein commercial where he was eating a chocolate bar that was in his hand and he raised it up and said “eat” “eat” and it didn’t go into his mouth but hit his forehead.

Please please tell me what the chocolate bar company sponsoring the commercial was.

Who knows what Del Toro’s version will be like but it sounds like it will still have the essence of the original story. Frankenstein needs to be fairly young… The Creature could be anyone. Christopher Walken as the Creature. Jake Gylenhall as Frankenstein.

Based on Heith Ledgers portrail of the joker in TDK, I’d say he’d make a fantastic crazy scientist. I also think Robert Downey Jr. could pull it off. As for the monster….Michael Cera…nah..i have no ideas actually.

Christian Bale is a little played out like Johnny Depp right now, I agree. These are two actors who are good in nearly every diverse role they choose, but never truly bring it anymore. There’s not enough method acting to their roles. That’s why I’d love to see Daniel Day Lewis in more surreal material.

For the mad Doctor, you need someone with dangerous intelligence and lonely, deranged eyes = I’d go with Phillip Seymor Hoffman. At this point, John Malkovich is almost too crazy looking for the role.

Or how about Daniel Day Lewis? That’d be sick!

Ron Perlman is actually a great choice for the monster.

Eventhough he looked retarted as the Monster Robert Deniro played Frankestein perfectly. That wasn’t a bad movie at all (Marry Shelleys Frankenstein).
