“That ain’t no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can’t be un-did, homeskillet.” - Rainn Wilson as Rollo in Juno
Los Angeles-based Etch-a-sketch artist (who knew there was such a thing) Elliot Sharron recently saw Juno (”The best movie of 2007!”) and sketched this picture of Michael Cera and Ellen Page from Jason Reitman’s film. Elliot blogs about his magic screen creations on Etch-A-Sketchist.

haha the artist certainly doesn’t agree that this is one of the best films of 2007, according to his caption under this etch…but nonetheless it looks pretty cool.

I preferred No Country For Old Men. And I didn’t put this in my review but I imagine some of my problems with Juno should’ve actually been directed at the thoughtless jerklady sitting next to me who would not stop BlackBerrying through the whole movie. After I put my foot down and told her in no uncertain terms that her behavior was unacceptable, I rather enjoyed the third act. But up until then it was by far the lamest movie-going experience since I endured Eyes Wide Shut with a pack of frat-boys hooting and hollering behind me.

Oh there are such things as Etch a Sketch artists. The best Etch a Sketch art that I’ve ever done is the Grinch.
I still say Juno is a good movie but not the best and the whole “home skillet” line was the worst part of the movie because NO ONE TALKS LIKE THAT.

I really enjoyed Juno, but I agree with Sarah. That line is a prime example of some of the over-written dialogue. Also, like, Bleaker (the Michael Cera character) using the word ‘wizard’ as an adjective. What’s up with that?
