First Look: Corey Feldman in Lost Boys 2

Mad Movies has the first photo of Corey Feldman in action as Edgar Frog in Warner Home Video’s Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. In the photo above, Frog fires a Holy Water Bazooka, likely at some villainous vampire foe.

Official Plot Description: “This sequel takes us to the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson (Hilgenbrink) and his younger sister, Nicole (Reeser). Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals’ way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gang’s lifeline before his sister’s transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.”

Jamison Newlander also returns as Edgar’s brother Alan. Merwin Mondesir, Shaun Sipos, and Kyle Cassie play a group of vampires led by Angus Sutherland’s character. Due to a problem with immigration, Corey Haim was unable to reprise his role as Sam Emerson.

Warner Bros. is still discussing whether to release The Lost Boys 2 theatrically, as the project was first conceived as a direct-to-DVD movie. I don’t care if this is a second rate DVD sequel, I really hope Warner releases this in theaters. Why not do a few midnight shows in the major markets?

What happend with Haim? Immiagration? What the hell?

He's a Canadian citizen now I believe. Who knows? I just hope this entire flick is scored by the Corey Feldman's Truth Movement

Corey Haim does not age. Was Meatballs 4 part of a Faustian debt? If so, sweet deal.

This movie would do $20 mill at the theaters opening wke as long as a good trailer can be cut and they cut some of the same music/sounds into it and make it referential. That old "People are Strange" cover that wasn't the Doors.

Imagine if the studio released a trailer that was just Corey Feldman's Frog Bro standing in a white door way surrounded by darkness and he pumps his holy water shotgun/bazooka/whatever. Trailer cuts to Corey Feldman's ever-young grimace, he spouts a seriously funny/memorable one liner and suddenly you hear the vampires come in for the attack from the darkness, but don't see them. Then it fades to black and a red or white "Lost Boys 2" logo appears that has semblance to the original poster's.

That is all you would need to get millions of asses into seats. Who hasn't seen Lost Boys? Even 50-year-old moms stop to watch that shit for the 5th time on cable, or even the Two Coreys. (Shame that Diane Wiest and Cocaine Haim aren't returning).

They do need to use at least 2 of the original songs.Aiden is allready covering cry little sister(kind of disappointed about that).People are strange would be great, but I would use the doors version this time, although either one would be great.I also hope to see Jim Morrisons face somewhere in the movie.Such a simple thing would be a great reference to the original.

The trailer is supposed to be on the I am Legend dvd.Ill be checking that out as soon as it is released.Hope its good!

The best moment in this movie was the brief cameo by Corey Haim at the very end. You see, simple truth, Corey Haim can actually ACT...something poor, greasy Feldman never could. I don't care if Haim is a junkie, a wannabe painter or a complete basketcase -I'll take that over an over processed pseudo-hollywood, reality show dwelling douchbag (ala Feldman) any day. I would also like to go on record as saying that Feldman wife...Susie or whatever that stupid whore's name is...needs smacked until her white trash bone structure turns into a decent gene pool. I mean WHO rocks 'color me bad' eyebrows like that in 2009? Lost Boys; The Tribe is a b-movie disaster...even the tongue and cheek moments where beyond cliche. The make-up was a nightmare, the cast a joke and the straight to video release a blessing.
