I would love to have Mr. Gondry turn my sci-fi novel: TIME TRIP ON A MOEBIUS STRIP," into a full length movie...It seems right up his alley...I think he would have a ball making it...My story involves a marine biologist finding a giant nautilus shell on the beach and then meeting up with the great grandson of Professor Moebius. They then places a giant metal Moebius strip inside of the shell> The marine biologist then enters another dimension where he then meets up with sixteen famous lost people of history and an angel...I can't say anything more about the story without giving the many surprises away...D.
Michel Gondry is so awesome. Everything he does is so unique. He definitely has his own style.

All of this is very interesting. While I thought Eternal Sunshine had its flaws, it was a deeply moving and visually stunning film. Gondry is a bonafide artist in a world of pure filmmakers, which is not at all the same thing. His style is very French in a lot of ways, which is something American cinema can really benefit from - the necessary suspension of disbelief, since we are presented with a world that seems real, yet cannot be.
