@Jerry
From what I've read, the filmmakers want to make a humorous bloody point that trustfunder hipsters aka trustafarians need to die a gruesome death via huge monster. Can't say I blame them. Hopefully the monster destroys Vice Magazine and Vincent Gallo in one swoop the tail.

These trailers are really harrowing. I wonder how many people will be turned off by the terror-exploitation aspect of this film - and it's clear that's what they're going for. I mean, war films are flopping, and monster films like I Am Legend are doing well, but this is like replacing bin laden with Godzilla and does anyone think Americans aren't ready for that?

Not to be a wuss, but watching New York get wiped out in a highly realistic fashion by an unrealistic threat for a film's entire running time might not equate to box office success....anyone disagree??

UGH. I knew it was only a matter of time until someone used that amazing music from "Sunshine" in a spot... but I didn't think it'd be the soon. I somehow feel a great deal of... envy. I don't know why. But it's hot, and I hope they keep using it.

The music is from Sunshine... took me a second to realize that. Glad I did or else it would have plagued me forever.
