Collider has a look at the new international movie poster for the Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight. I agree with Frosty, this one is much better than that “Why So Serious” viral movie poster (what was the point anyway?).
The first six minutes of the film are attached to IMAX versions of I Am Legend, which hits theaters tomorrow. Check it out if you can. A new theatrical trailer is attached to 35mm prints. Check out the new poster after the jump.

Caracas! Isso sim que é um belo poster. Deu mais IBOPE que a derrota da CPMF no Senado Federal no Brasil.
I think on July 18 we’ll have a really Darker Knight…

Does anyone else see The Joker in the city lights?

This might be the greatest poster I’ve ever seen. Ever.
December 13th, 2007 at 8:50 pm
Where do you see the Joker?
December 13th, 2007 at 8:58 pm
I see The Joker above and to the left of Batman. He is significantly larger and his head is sort of above Batman.
December 13th, 2007 at 9:11 pm
You mean like in front of Batman? Like Batman’s blocking his face?
December 13th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
Yeah. In the cityscape, the lights and buildings creat his image.

Are movie posters also gonna turn into iTunes artworks like style?
December 13th, 2007 at 9:26 pm
I don’t see a “city scape” outline of the joker at all. I think you’re pulling a swift one.
December 13th, 2007 at 9:29 pm
Man, I don’t see any Joker here. You guys prankin?
December 13th, 2007 at 9:40 pm
It’s just The Joker’s chest, shoulders, and head. He’s that big in the pic. No one sees this? I wish I could point to it above and to the left of Batman.
December 13th, 2007 at 9:41 pm
I kind of see it, I feel like it’s a stretch…it’s like batman’s body is blocking the picture of the face…the black marks around bat’s neck are like the tops of the eyes…that’s really all i can see…it’s a bit like a light green reflection in front of him…
December 13th, 2007 at 9:44 pm
i still don’t understand all the hate for the joker smile poster.

WHOA! Finally! A Dark Knight poster worth a damn! Looks damn cool!! Best picture from the film yet! AWESOME!
December 13th, 2007 at 10:57 pm
I can’t see the Joker face.
Is that Gotham? Looks more like Hong Kong and Tokyo - its less grimey than the Gotham in BBegins.

The marketing on TDK has been so awesome. I can’t believe it is the same studio that usually does such a terrible job. That poster is so beautiful.

That’s a great poster. People keep saying that the city scape resembles Hong Kong. And that’s probably because it most likely is.
I remember reading a while back that a sequence takes place there. or for the most part they did some shooting there earlier this year.

Does anyone know if this poster is available in the U.S.?
April 7th, 2008 at 9:01 pm
hrm… i dont know if i’m seein the samething as you is but i do see half the face of joker and a large hand lol. the hand’s comin towards batman, like he’s trynna reach out and grab him. its on the right side by the only dark area you will find on this poster. that would resemble the hand then if you look at batman’s right horn and go straight across to that white lil dot surrounded by black and its angled, that would be the joker’s right eye. it looks like he’s lookin directly at batman. then go down from there just a little bit and you would make out his smile by the green lights. interesting lol.
