Universal Pictures has released the first photo from Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The photo features Ron Pearlman as Hellboy, showing off his gigantic gun. Check out the new photo after the jump.

The first film completely missed the spirit of the comics. They tried to make x-men when Hellboy is far from that. So my question is, why is there a sequel and why do we care?
