ok pansies……. ive seen the film during the screening process…… it aint a lock, stock level film, but defintitly a snatch level stuff. actually betta than snatch, if ya ask me. yup the bouncer scene is pretty violent. butler and tom wilkinson are in top form. ludacris was a surpirse. good stuff….thandie newton also has put up a strong showing (thank god, guy for not casting you HARD CANDY WIFE!!!)…….. but the best part is how the climax turns out. just when you think you know whats gonna happen next, its a twist! (NOT LIKE THE PSYCHOBABBLING TWIST IN REVOLWER……) more like lock, stock/sntach level …..good one guy ritchie…welcome to back to good film making!

i help to plot this film with guy, and my co partner martin askew. let me tell you this it is in the same vain as snatch, wich i help wiht to and guy is a great director and a good freind, we wanted to write a great film for england and i think we did please tell me after you have seen the movie. mickey dee.

I’ve heard there is a very violent scene involving a bouncer with Toby Kebbell where the bouncer gets a good beaten, he says it’s the most violent scene of the movie… Is this true…..I really hate bouncers

this movie is not like â€™smokin acesâ€™ at all it is the best gangster film i have seen when it comes out on 3 October 2008 it will blow you away

There are several names in this movie that makes this well worth watching. I’d had my first taste of Ritchie with “Snatch”, and had to backtrack to catch up on “Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels”.

Oh, and congrats on getting your review in the spotlight, ethereal! ^_^

I’m a Guy Ritchie fan as well as an avid Butler fan so I was very
excited when I heard about this film last summer. Judging from the two pics, Gerry looks fabulous as a modern man…and I sense he will play a dumb crook with great panache. Wilkinson is always a treat and Thandie Newton should up the ante a little as a woman in a Ritchie film (there haven’t been many).

GUY RICHIE IS MOST DEFINATLY BACK IN A BIG WAY REVOLVER BLEW MY MIND I LOVED THAT FLICK SO MUCH! I’M GLAD TO SE IN THIS ONE HE HAS BROUGHT THE COMEDY BACK(ONE OF THE BEST THINGS IN LOCK STOCK AND SNATCH), REVOLVER HAD A MUCH MORE SERIOUS TONE. I’M AM REALLY HAPPY HE PULLED HIS WAY OUT OF THE HELL THAT WAS SWEPT AWAY(FUCK MADONNA)!

Um….that was my review and I am not a plant. Just a Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson and Guy Ritchie fan. My review was meant for fellow Gerard fans, which is why my review is so heavily Gerard-centric.

I was actually looking forward to reading someone elses review of the movie and was surprised to see my own! But my screen name is “etherealtb” NOT “eternal”! (Although I kind of like “eternal” better! LOL.)

So where’s my hundred bucks?
