In the end, Tron was just that, and it made history. Of course, these images looke more comic-book like, but that may end up being a cool thing when you look at the final product. They may also have borrowed some elements from Spy-Kids 3D, which, if I'm not mistaken, was a huge hit. I am sure the video-game-like action sequences will be amazing in 3D. And, be honest, what did you expect from a SpeedRacer adaptation? these guys had to think hard, and they came up with a nice concept. I trust the W's storytelling abilities, as well as their ability to create cutting edge cinema. Some of the pics look amazing - like the girl w the checkered flag.
