Washes away the spectre of campy Nicholson with that great TDK Joker photo :) (Okay, Jack’s Joker was pretty damn good.)

I just saw the new trailer, his voice is creepy as all hell!I’m glad they’re finally doing the character right. He’s not supposed to be funny,he’s a violent psychopath.

yea i’m a complete batman junkie and i am thrilled…he can’t beat Jack Nicholson cause he is crazy already but i am stoked…and if you don’t like the way Nolan does it than maybe you should go watch the Schuemaker batman movies again…HA

R.I.P Heath.. I think you should got an oscar for this role.. you did everything for making this job perfect.. even the notebook with things that would make the joker laugh… this role will make you a legend… 6 months from now… we’ll see the work of your life… R.I.P Heath Ledger… Great Job… You Rocked!!!

Heath literally gave his life for his role as the Joker in the TDK so I truly hope that this turns out to be his best. I read that as he was practicing for the role, he was very sleep-deprived and had to adjust to a rather uncomfortable schedule in order to make it work. So far it seems that the seemingly dangerous sleeping pills contributed to his unfortunate death.
I was shocked when I heard the sad news because I’m a huge Batman fan and I was really looking forward to seeing Ledger’s Joker (and I still am). Nolan really got some good actors for this film so I see no reason why it won’t be a hit in July.

Perfect Joker! Now if they could change out the wimpy, whining, Bale for a more “square jaw” and blue eyed man like batman is supposed to be, we would be doing great! If anyone is in doubt, Gerald Butler would make the perfect batman, check out his movie “Attila” Let’s face it Bale’s voice is wimpy and degrading to the way Batman is supposed to sound and act like. Butler has a deep voice, a square jaw, blue eyes , and batman’s body……PERFECT! “Bale is not a manly man- he is a girly man!”
To all the directors……..what’s up with creating characters that are wimpy and weak? You destroyed spiderman! When he threw his mask in the trash over a woman…….that was the end!
Arguments are welcomed! Society wants Strong characters not ones that need psychological help for dealing with personal problems (Except for those playing psychopathic roles).
We are still waiting for the great battle between batman and superman!

The comment about spider man throwing his mask in the trash over a woman……..don’t take it personal because I am a woman, I just thought he should have been a little “tougher” We like badboys not babies!

Hey Tracy your absolutlely right , about Christian Bale, not being right for the role at all, I’ve never been sold on him, he does’nt look like a Bruce Wayne, he’s too short, sounds wimpy (people are dying ) phatectic, no wonder they continue to alter the suit, to distract us, he looks like robobatman now , what the hell man? a lot of suck ups are making a big deal out of Nolans interpretations, in my opinion they still have a few more directors before they get it right. I hope the film lives up to all the especulations, I got a bad feeling thoug,I saw a leaked picture of the joker dressed as a nurse ,and allready I’m thinking,it’s steering towards the rediculous. all we can do is hope , I”LL bet if we put together a team of hard core fans and amateur film makers we can come up with a better batman flick….than all these big ego bozos…

I AGREE!!! I don’t know how to spell his name for please forgive me, but I think we should envoke Quentin Tarantino to help Gorrify batman the way he is supposed to be. I have every batman movie, and T.V. episode from the early years and I think the fans could do a better job! I think the current batman looks like a Cat, hellooooo……the tips of the mask are supposed to be LONG and POINTY. Maybe instead of “I am batman” Christian Bale should say “I AM CATMAN” PURRRRFECT.
Thanks for your support!

i think bale does an amazing job as batman. Better than anybody so far
April 10th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
Mini Me would do a better job as batman than Bale. Christian Bale has lips like a woman and his voice is weak. If it were not for the technology of “Voice Enhancement” he would sound like a woman too. Watch his other movies, he is just not a strong actor. The very first batman ever was square jawed, blue eyes, and had a deep voice. Christian Bale has none of these qualities. Let’s face it, this director did get the joker half-way right, maybe with a few more tries he will get batman right as well.
All I can say for Bale is whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, batman is supposed to be portrayed as a dark -minded vigilante not as an athlete getting ready, doing push-ups, and psyching himself up to fight a big bad villan!
Spoken from a true fan who has read every single comic book on batman, watched every T.V. episode of batman, and has over 5000 batman collectible cars, action figures, busts, and yes, even the Japanese sculptures of batman……..and there are exactly 26 “da, da, da, da, da da, in the batman theme song! and I got to sit in the actual batmobile from the michael keaton movie. I would love to sit in the tumbler! maybe even drive it!

Joker you’re an inspiration for birth control.
June 9th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
tracy you dont know what you are talking about. christian bale is one of the greatest actors of our generation! havnt you seen american physco the machinist or 3:10 to yuma? im not sayin gerard butler isnt a good actor im jus saying that these days not many people come near bales talent
June 9th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
Dirty dog those three movies you mentioned were mediocre at best , Bale a great actor haha ha don’t make me laugh brother please, he’s lucky he got a high profile role but a great actor ,I think you getting carried away , I’m sure they can find a way better actor who can play a Bat Man , that’s angry ,out for revenge ,some what sychotic, and credibly athlectic, not a wimp which is how I see Bale period……
