<description>"Religulous" is probably on my top 2008 list right beside "The Pineapple Express." Religion is long a topic that needs to be dissected and looked at with a critical eye on the big screen and Charles and Maher have the perfect level of fame to make this shot heard everywhere.

The timing is perfect as well: with Christianity becoming more and more the biggest factor that gets our presidents elected as the American populace splits into secular and non- at an ever conflicting degree. How Huckabee can deny evolution and say that the Earth is 6000 years old is ridiculous and scary as hell.

Anyone notice pop culture going after religion with a fervor these days? Rolling Stone has really started piling on their atheist sentiments, and "Weeds" is probably the most openly secular show in TV history.

Wonder where "Religulous" will premiere? Maybe they have a more controversity-brewing location planned.</description>
