I am hoping you fail miserably this year. Not because I don't support independent film but rather because you are holding your event in a homophobic state that helped destroy the right of thousands of Americans.

I am really looking forward to seeing the film IOUSA. I just read about it in a Daily Reckoning article on http://www.agorafinancial.com/iousa.html . Addison Wiggin from Empire of Debt and Financial Reckoning Day is listed as the executive producer. Both of these books were amazing. Hopefully they will be screening IOUSA in NYC soon. -Jack

sundance used to be a venue where anyone with a decent film could show there work.

its appaerent that Rober Redfords vision has been sold out, you dont have a chance in getting a film in the sundance film festival(documentarys exluded) if you dont have a regocnisable name attached to the project.

its a buyers market for distributers represententatives, in other words " lets take the fatted cow to the market". hollywood takes a good film and doesnt have to worry about any kind of investing except marketing, so if you have a dream about making it in the sundance film festival, ask yourself this question>>> why would you want to be a part of a bunch of phonies anyway,

it seems that sundance films are made to impress other filmmakers, so that the filmakers can get work from the other filmmakers, instead of making films for the general public.

in closing, sundance sold out to holloywood, we might as well call sundance hollywood#2, we need a new sundance.
