I work as an IMAX projectionist and it would be the biggest waste. Since I Am Legend is not in 3d, there is no reason why they would make the opening scene 3d. it would cost way to much and take too much time to get the show ready for a 7 minute clip. (I'm not even a big comics or Batman or superhero fan?!) Eventually the hype and expectations will get so high there's only room for disappointment, but right now I couldn't care less: this sequel is looking Godly, easily my most anticipated since T2. Can't wait for an HD release in late 2008! Just got Batman Begins again on HD DVD (amazing) and this TDK feature just ratchets up my excitement for Nolan’s second Batman EVEN MORE. (I’m not even a big comics or Batman or superhero fan?!) Eventually the hype and expectations will get so high there’s only room for disappointment, but right now I couldn’t care less: this sequel is looking Godly, easily my most anticipated since T2.
