Update: Six New Dark Knight Viral Sites Have Launched

Last month Warner Bros ramped up their Dark Knight viral efforts with a Halloween game on WhySoSerious.com, which required visitors from around the United States to band together to solve a puzzle. The challenge was awarded with a new photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker, and a new domain name: RorysDeathKiss.com. The new site asked fans to organize large groups dressed like The Joker, and take a photo infront of the “most famous landmark in your city”.

A Gotham Times newspaper was sent out to the winners. The paper features some new website URLs which will probably result in the next leg of the online game.

There is also mention of the following email address: humanresources@whysoserious.com. When you send a message to that address, this is the auto-response:

See you found my little message. So, do you think you have what it takes to be a part of my circle of friends? Are you a backstabbing, self-promoting, ambitious clown who will do anything to prove yourself to me? If so, the first step of your application process awaits…if you know where to look.

Paul at FofR sent us the following photos from the publication, which can be viewed after the jump.
