if all i hear is in fact true this game should be long.from what i was told you play gb and gb2 then gb3 so you get a feel for the game on the frist two parts then you get a new story to play around with and it's more of a horror/comedy to keep people playing without geting bord to fast so it should be like the ghosthuner game ps2 only look more real and more jumps

I hope they don't waste thier time with a Wii port of this game. Seems like it will be a great game and it would be ashamed to port it to a fad system like the Wii. They'd lose big money, it would be better to stay with the consoles or desktops that we all know will still be around in 6 months. I honestly don't give the Wii platform more then 6 month before it start to wane in popularity.

I'm looking foward, to playing the new Ghostbusters video game either on Microsoft XBOX 360 or Sony Playstation 3, the look the best on both of these systems. The Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii I think was cheated out of having the same versions as the 360 and PS3. Instead, they are going to get kiddoe versions of Ghostbusters the graphics and character look are not that bad, but it is kiidie in comparison, to PS3's and 360's Oh Well!!! I'm also, looking forward to seeing a feature film, the film was supposed to be like TMNT's cgi cinematic animation imagery. I hope Sony/Columbia Pictures gives the rights to Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis GB3 must become a reality on the big screen. MIB2 made it, why not Ghostbusters 3 What's the deal people. Sorry to burst your bubble, but as of right now a CGI GB3 isn't happening; & the Ghostbusters Videogame does take place after the 2nd film in 1991. Dan Ackroid said it himself that the video game is a sequel to the first two films. He also said that a video game is better than another film 'cause it'll last longer.

I hate to burst your bubble Rob but you are wrong! Ghostbusters 3 in CGI is still happening in CGI! The videogame is a remake of the first GB Movie and it's seprate from the film! I saw a quick GB3 CGI Trailer that GB Fan made and it says that the GB is back for a third time with the voices of Bill Murray,Dan Aykroyd,Harold Ramis,and Ernie Hudson and it said this summer of 2008! I didn't catch the whole thing because it took to long to download but I saw this much of it so stop making an @ss out of yourself because GB3 in CGI is still happening!

Patrick. So far all Akroyd has said is that a CGI movie would stand more of a chance than a live-action. Nothing on a CGI movie was confirmed. He also said that this video game will be the third movie. HOWEVER, we all know that what sells turns into a movie, so I THINK an actual third movie would be possible only if SONY sees a nice cut from the game sales and sees the results of the upcoming marketing blitz this fall. It's corporate. It's not based upon handful of fans, but on the proof of thousands of fans.

Pat, alas, if it will become a movie, it will be AFTER the videogame. The GB3 movie is in development hell. The person who played Peter Venkman said that this comeback would become a possibility of GB3. Also, the website says it is a new plot, so obviously not a remake. Tron's sequel was Tron 2.0. and that was a video game, so don't think it's not true. Wikipedia, the guy who plays Venkman, and the official website disprove you. Also, Ernie hudson may have been the cast, but the director of the movies was Ivan Reitman. Ernie does voices, so don't expect him to know everything. Dan was on Coast to Coast am show and he was talking about the UFO dvd.After the show the Interviewer asked him about GB3 and Dan said that the videogame will be released in 2008 and GB3 in CGI 2009!
