		<description>It'll be interesting to see how Frank Miller does as a director on his own... but quite frankly (no pun intended), the facts that he was "mentored" by Robert Rodriguez and that he appears to be filming the whole movie greenscreen are leading me to believe that this movie will suffer.

To learn from a director whose characters always lack dimension and relies way too much on CG is not a good thing, no matter how innovative that director may be in other areas.</description>

		<description>i hadn't even heard of the spirit before will eisner passed awa yand the comics community, rightly, made the magnitude of his loss felt. darwyn cooke's recent run has been amazing and made me wanna pick up the original stuff.

i think it kicks ass that miller is a directornow because he has a strong sense of visual style so i'm excited to see this and even more excited to see what he does in the future.
