More and more artists are using their fans as collaborators and that has to be a good thing. I think this move is very smart aside from that fact. It shows that he is not only proud of both scripts, but that he trusts his audience. You would never see Speilberg or Bay do anything like that, because well, they're always worried about the bottom line and often produce movies whose scripts are mediocre at best. This shows he has nothing to hide, and is concerned only about making the best movie possible. Kudos to him. I think in the coming years we’re going to see a lot more of this kind of stuff.
