Just wanted to say Seth's idea is brilliant. There are, apparently, far too many lousy screenwriters taking up space in Hollywood if a single blog comment can so easily top any script idea I've heard in the last five years.

The sequel should have been "My Name is Not Bruce."

In sequel, character Ash Williams is mistaken for actor Bruce Campbell. Confusion occurs when monster slayer is hired to act in horror movie. After unwittingly slaying animatronic creatures and the like, Ash and movie set finds itself under siege from real monsters. Ash soon finds the Necronomicon was being used as a movie prop and must stop Hollywood from being devoured by deadites. But he soon finds the real Bruce Campbell may have other plans.
