In sequel, character Ash Williams is mistaken for actor Bruce Campbell. Confusion occurs when monster slayer is hired to act in horror movie. After unwittingly slaying animatronic creatures and the like, Ash and movie set finds itself under siege from real monsters. Ash soon finds the Necronomicon was being used as a movie prop and must stop Hollywood from being devoured by deadites. But he soon finds the real Bruce Campbell may have other plans. The sequel should have been “My Name is Not Bruce.”
