Rambo to Hell and Back has now been retitled (yes, AGAIN) as “Rambo“. Apparently Sylvester Stallone didn’t like “John Rambo” because that signified the last of a series. And according to Sly, there will likely be more Rambo movies. I think I like this title best. It’s simple, yet says everything. Plus the first Rambo film was actually titled First Blood, so it works without ruining the title sequencing. The guys at FilmDrunk think the poster looks like a mixture of Scarface and the Bruce Willis Sin City poster, and I would tend to agree. Check out the poster after the jump.

Rambo hits theaters on Janury 25th 2008.

i think if stallone wants to make one more after this one the whole thing should come full circle and end how it begun in the Pacific Northwest on american soil with more idiots calling a Patriot a transeant and learning what respect is to me that is John Rambo and mabey this time he doesnt put his gun down

There’s no way he could be in another Rambo after this. I can see him maybe writing it, producing it, or directing it, but he’ll be SO old by the time another one is made. (imo)

i think if done right it could possably be landmark film a sounding of sorts for the last holds outs of a forgoten group just becuase they are no longer a “Fad” does not mean war vets are not still going thru the same emotional upheaval what if with this last round you made the trespass the same yet even more sad becuase here is a man hitting his twilight years yet is still torn from an event 40 years ago and still not treated with dignity…plus as far as age and “ability to kick a-s “go talk to my grand pa when he was alive in cold creek Arizona and his shotgun on the mantel.

Although I think this movie will be laughable at best, we should all wish to be in his shape at age 61.

I don’t know how today’s moviegoing generation will there hasn’t been a rambo movie in 20 years…but anyway it’s a hit like Rocky Balboa or if it sinks like other years-long delayed sequels (Basically it Stinks 2 (LOL)and Superman Returns) you can at least say that it had a dope-ass poster (just like the above mentioned long delayed cornball sequels just mentioned).
