Warner Bros has released a few new photos (most uneventful) from the upcoming adaptation of I Am Legend starring Will Smith (movie trailer).
Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague—The Infected—lurk in the shadows…watching Neville’s every move…waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered…and quickly running out of time.

A sequel is a very good idea for this movie if you look at the trailers there were two or three that had Neville surrounded by the infected, they were within inchecs of his face while he was standing up, with mouths open ready to take a few bites out of him, thit was not in the movie they can use that as a basis for ther new movie!

A sequel is a very good idea for this movie if you look at the trailers there were two or three that had Neville surrounded by the infected, they were within inches of his face while he was standing up, with mouths open ready to take a few bites out of him, also there was a very big explosion that also was not in the movie so the screen writers do have some parts in the trailers to use for the new movie, this was not in the movie they can use that as a basis for their new movie! I look forward to seeing it and I also hope that they make a TV series, I like movies where mankind go to the brink, and by the grace of GOD get a second chance to follow what he wants for us!

Id love to see a sequel but i don’t think they could really use will smith
in it.I mean he’d have to be missing an arm if they were to use him
and that would just stray the viewers away from the point like wow he’s missing an arm and in a world that has very small population i doubt that they could do what they did in i robot give him a robot arm .The plot of the movie is pretty much assumed man kind rebuilding it self dark seekers are to by cured with the antidote that Neville made. but the movie wouldn’t have the same feel to it when you know theres other people alive

i dont think a sequel would be a good idea as the main idea is already finished i mean what else can u do in the sequel yea sure shoot a few seekers to fix em up but thats really it

the parts you see in the film where he is surrounded by infected are in the alternative ending

making a remake to this would be, in my oppinion, pointless. at the end of the movie, Will’s character (Robert) killed himself for the greater good. if the makers of this movie they really are making a sequil, i think that they should just quit while they are ahead. I Am Legend is an awsome movie, but if they make another, it has very little room for improvement. basically, it can only be worse.
