UpcomingPixar have posted this teaser poster for Pixar’s WALL-E. I’m not quite sure if this is real, but if so I really need to get this one-sheet for the office. And if it is legit, I’m guessing that it’s probably European mainly due to the use of “cinemas”. The poster is essentially an extended version of the WALL-E photo that was released at Comic-Con. Check out the full poster after the jump.

See, this is why people get upset with Slash Film, instead of posting “Check out the full poster after the jump” you should be linking to the site that posted the photo and sending people there. Posting the image on your site is pretty much stealing, sorta like taking exclusive trailers and posting them on here.

Reply to dvdinfoman;
On the other hand, people like myself appreciate not being forced to other (unfamiliar) sites. A link is included in the posting if I desire the source; but not required to get the full story.

All you need is a lightning bolt and it’s like a modern version of Short Circuit. Except Wall-E is a baby Johnny Five!
PS: Forget the poster above, I hate clicking 5 links to source blogs to get news.

mehenninger, of course you appreciate it, but that is not the point. UpcomingPixar didn’t post that image so SlashFilm could just take it as their own, they posted it so people would go to UpcomingPixar. I am just saying it is common web etiquette. That is all.

dvdinfoman,
I have e-mailed you in an attempt to clear this up. We like many other websites (FirstShowing, MMM, CinemaBlend, JoBlo, The Movie Blog, LatinoReview…etc I just looked at my rss feed and all those sites have used the same practice in the last week. I can provide links if needed) post full posters on a Poster news articles because it is ridiculous to ask our readers to go fishing to another site for a medium sized version of the image.
We don’t post the high resolution photo, that is always available at the original source. Until now I have never encounted a problem with this from any other websites regaurding this issue, and I tend to talk to a big handfull of the other online journalists/website owners on a weekly basis. Cinematical and ComingSoon have both told me they are fine with this as long as I link and credit them.
We always link and credit up front. If anyone has a problem with this I would love to chat with you. Please e-mail me through the contact link on the top of the page.
Thanks
Peter

Well I really like the poster!! The animation looks like its going to be really great and Wall-E is pretty adorable.. I like the expression on his “face” in this giving him a more human feel. Looks like its going to be another great film from Pixar..
