Jackass star Steve-O let it slip today on the Howard Stern Show that a third Jackass movie is in the works. No, we’re not talking about the Jackass 2.5 direct-to-DVD movie which is coming out later this year. I’m talking about Jackass: Number Three.
“I was told to rest up for Jackass 3 which will start shooting in January,” said Steve-O.
So there you have it, yet another pre-strike film. The first two Jackass films came out in early fall (September/October), so I would assume they are shooting for a Fall 2008 release. But who knows.

Knoxville came up with the original idea of testing personal safety devices on himself. He pitched the idea to Tremaine, which lead to the creation of Jackass. Tremaine then recruited others who would become the rest of the Jackass crew. Bam and his band of half wit idiots were just recruits and could have just as easily been replaced.
Bam is a 2nd rate skater. Always was, always will be. He has never been good enough to seriously complete in major competitions, and now he doesn’t compete anymore at all. Most don’t even consider him “pro” at all. He has sponsorship purely due to the fame of Jackass, not his skating.
Quit trying to defend Bam’s crying and whining. Fucking asshole isn’t even strong enough to man up when he knows damn well the camera is running and millions are going to see it. Being hit with riot control bullets is fucked up, but you seem to forget the millions of dollars he getting paid for that shit. For that kind of money, you could find 10,000 guys to take his place that would NOT cry. You don’t even need millions of dollars. If you offered $100,000 to anyone who could take a riot control shot, and not cry, you would have a line a mile long.

Hey guys… first of all Bam was doing CKY first, (i love Knoxville but its true) then Knoxville moved to California, there he was writing for big brother, and he told Tremaine that he was gonna do the clip with him trying out pepper spray, and other the other stuff. Then both Fox and MTV got a hold of it and asked if he wanted to do a show, and they when with MTV, because of more freedom, they could name it and do what ever. So Knoxville was then asked to call Bam and see if he would wanna be on the show and he said only if his friends could come along. They agreed then started the show, but on one of the interview Knoxville did say most of the first season was CKY stuff

Wrong. CKY was created before Jackass, but it has not been on MTV. You probably have mixed up the CKY videos with the CKY music videos, which are not the same thing. The CKY band is different than the Bam’s CKY crew.

Wrong. He has 3 and Jackass 3 is the only one which will be shown in theaters. His other 2 are low budget pieces of garbage, which are written, directed, procduced by Bam. Just like that piece of shit that he produced back in 2003, “Haggard”, they will be released directly to DVD and not be carried by any major retailers.

Wrong. Bam is not universally recognized as “pro”, because he has never been that good and doesn’t even compete anymore. Before CKY and Jackass he had NO major sponsorships. andrew, I have to disagree with you about Bam being one of the big 3. Watch for his name in the opening credits of their movies. It’s always #2, right after Knoxville.
I also do not think Bam would be rich making crap movies if he had not been in Jackass. His little CKY project is not a big money maker, even today. His new movies (excluding Jackass) are low budget and direct to DVD. His fame and fortune were all dependent on Jackass, even if he didn’t really have much to do with it’s success.
Dave has done a few good stunts. I think the majority are dumb, but to his credit, he does more stuff than Bam does and he isn’t one of the big 3. The “Urban Kayaking” bit that Dave and Ehren did back in season 1 is still one of my favorite bits.
I haven’t seen Bam’s Unholy Union, it’s hard to believe it could be worse than Viva La Bam, but I’ll take your word for it. Bam mentioned several times on his radio show that they are considering doing a season 2 where Bam and Missy pretend she is pregnant.

Andrew: I enjoyed the brand as well. It was pretty good, even if he flailed around like a little bitch. I think that is the first real stunt Bam has ever done. His comment at the end was stupid though: “I’d rather rip my dick off and throw it in the river than do that again.” It’s scripted, over dramatic and just stupid. Bam shouldn’t be allowed to write any dialog, ever.

It give a small bit of history and says that Bam is famous. I suspect the whole reason you pasted 2 pages of information was for the first sentence that states he was pro at 13; to backup your earlier claim. This is a huge waste of space and proves nothing since it is the article’s author opinion, not fact, that Bam was pro at 13.
I also agree that Bam should not be acting. He is one of the most terrible actors I have ever seen. I would most prefer to see him dead, but between acting and stunts, I definitely think he should stick to stunts.

While I have seen Dico do several very entertaining bits, he is inconsistent. “Sushi fish” was an excellent bit, but there are too few of these. I do not listen to Bam’s radio show. My reference to it was taken from an article I read on Bam’s Unholy Union.
I have downloaded many of Bam’s TV shows and videos, some of which I have watch. I first started downloading them out of curiosity before I really knew who Bam was. I quickly found out that all his shows, are terrible and that Bam is a talentless punk.
You don’t seem to understand the very basics of forming a well thought out argument. Without insight into the subject, you can’t make a valid argument for, or against, it. If I didn’t know who Bam was, and didn’t watch any of his videos, my opinion on him would hold no water.

Yeah, i heard that too. Plus that was the day i met bam, the day they were shooting. (I actually met him that Saturday, before that Radio Bam episode were he said the stuff about shooting and Jackass, but i think he was shooting Sunday, and Monday) I saw a camera guy walking down the street, about an hour before though. I actually think that the shooting is for the 24hour take over they’re doing this Saturday though. But it was funny as bam walked away once he signed our stuff, we yelled “Hey, are you making a third Jackass?” and he looked at us smiled, and then waved and walked away.
But he brought his nice blue lambo. But he was with another guy, and i thought it was Ryan Dunn, because the both had long blond hair, but it wasn’t.

I just got through watching Steve-O on the Howard Stern show from a couple months back. This is the show where he promotes Dr. Steve-O, Jackass: The Game and “slips” about Jackass 3.
Steve-O is really whacked out on drugs. I knew he partied, but he looks like he’s on his way to some real serious problems. I’m thinking it’s not the stunts that are going to kill him, it’s probably going to be his lifestyle.
Also interesting was the way he answered the question about who created Jackass. He dodged the question, in a way that suggests this is a touchy topic between the guys, but he essentially said:
Bam says he created Jackass, but Bam says a lot of shit.

I’d like to see them drop Bam into a room full of snakes. He’d probably piss his pants and cry before he passed out.
Even if someone wanted to produce Jackass 3, there is a chance Bam wouldn’t even want to do it. Anyone watch the Jackass 24 hour takeover? Near the end Bam tried to sneak out the back door. He fucking tried to run away AGAIN! Bam is such a pussy. They should just throw him out of the crew.
