Zack Snyder is hard at work shooting the big screen adaptation of Watchmen in Canada. Warner Bros has sent us a video diary introduction from Snyder, live from the set. He talks a little bit about the first week of shooting. And it looks like we’ll be seeing more of these as the production progresses. But first check out the first video update after the jump. Watchmen hits theaters on March 6th 2009.

Wow, Zack Snyder looks tired in that footage. As you know, I’m not exactly a Snyder fan (hated 300, think Watchmen is unadaptable), but Zack, dude, make sure you get some rest. You have a long, long haul in front of you to get Watchmen into theaters by March 2009.
