Hi Nick,

First off, the "predictions" you're responding to are actually done by me. My name is Steve Mason, and I work as a box office analyst. They're not actually predictions though. These are actual box office projections based on sales data.

As for whether this is the final RESIDENT EVIL, here's what Sony/Sceen Gems says....

"The third and final installment of the $100 million RESIDENT EVIL hits, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION is again based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off. Alice (MILLA JOVOVICH), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (ODED FEHR) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke ) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead...and to seek justice. Since being captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive.
--© Sony/Screen Gems"

Do I believe that this ill be the last RESIDENT EVIL film. Not necessarily. That's why I added the ord "reportedly." There's a distinct chance of another film depite what Sony says. Their only problem is that sequels get more and more expensive and Jovovich was only committed contractually to 3 films. RESIDENT EVIL could be revived with another European hottie.

INTO THE WILD is a great movie. It's a possible Oscar nominee in multiple categories. I love me a good zombie movie as much s the next guy, but INTO THE WILD is a very different kind of movie.

The reviews on Rotten Tomatoes so far are HORRIBLE. The movie's tomato meter is at a dismal 26%. As opposed to Into The Wild which is one of the better movies released this year so far (8.9 imdb rating, 85% on RT). I don't know how you could say that you liked RE3 over that film?

Peter i'm sorry to say that your predictions about Resident Evil were quiet off. In my opinon it was the best of the 3. And there is NO WAY it could be the last one, they baisically said at the end that there will at least be another one.

I actually found Good Luck Chuck very funny. Granted, it's very derogative towards women, I still enjoyed the flick.
